Looks fucking fantastic. I just watched the trailer at Gamespot, and it looks like its going to be a very good game. BUT Its kind of looking like you will be interrigating and investigating more then having gun fight fights and car chases like in GTA. Do you think that might ruin the gameplay itself? And what about the multiplayer. Hmm...
The voice acting and face expresions are amazing, not to mention how realisct the people them selves look.

Never would of thought Rockstar would pull off a detective game, but here we are. Looks gorgeous, but since when does their development team not pull off masterpieces?

Yeah I love rockstar. The games on portable systems get like 7+ but the ones on home consoles get like 9-10. They are best for games in my opionion.

Actually, it's being produced by Team Bondi in Australia, Just being funded and published (probably even helping Team Bondi produce the game as well)

But either way, They are both doing a great job with the Facial Motion detecting for the game, the faces look so real that it mind blasts me.

I can't wait for it.

I always enjoy Rockstar games incredibly and I'm a big fan of detentive style games. This looks amazing.

Already got a thread.
Use whatever you will though, doesn't matter to me.
I was really excited for this, and now it just looks like a rental for me.
So I will be renting it.

Yeah, whatever.

It's an interesting concept, and the time period isn't an over done one, I'll be buying it.

Why is that? Don't tell me this game isn't free roam?

This. The game has potential to be really different out in the market and be a deep adventure game. Like a hybrid of Ace Attorney, Mafia, and Heavy Rain. It looks great, and if the designers are smart they'll keep it balanced with action and deep story. Otherwise I'll be very disappoint.

No, because the point of the game is to make it an interactive film noir movie so to speak.

Rockstar game? This isn't being made by Rockstar, it's being made by some Australian or European company or some shit, Rockstair is funding it though and I can imagine they'd have lots of money cause their games are always successful

This game looks fun

People definitely shouldn't mistake this for GTA or Red Dead Redemption. GTA and RDR both satirize the periods and place they are set in, whereas L.A Noire is a completely serious game that all but does away with the atmosphere of GTA and RDR. The game mechanics will be similar in many ways, but there the similarities end. Rockstar and Bondi are going to territories unexplored for both companies.

Yeah and a lot of people thought that Red Dead Redemption wouldn't go well because it was a cowboy game set in the old west. But I think people are going to come to realize that Rockstar can do more than just Grand Theft Auto games. Heck if anything I hope to see more diverse games coming from rockstar. I always thought it would be cool to have a Rockstar superhero game.
