Whoever gave it 100 for both audio and visuals is an asshat. It looks like shit and the voice acting is laughable at times.

It's a pretty fun game IMO, worth the purchase... can't see why the scores on the pic are so low unless its some group (/v/?).

Also PC gamers be warned, the DirectX 11 in this game is a joke, almost no visible difference unless you get the high resolution texture pack (and even then it's not that much better).

I am really disappointed bioware. Really.

Looks better than Dragon Age Origins imo but still it's several years later and the improvement is minimal. Might get it but it's not too high on my list of games to get this year.

Gameplay and story of DA:O so far has been 100x better then DA2. When I first played DA:O, I didn't stop playing for hours. Now I have to take a break after 20 or so minutes because it is not as engaging.

i think the customisation change thing has turned off a lot of hardcore DA fans.
i have been playing it and i think its fine.
the customisation is not an absaloutely vital part of these games.
i mean look at other really popular games, most of them you can' even choose sex.
people should get over it

Well I've just finished Dragon Age 2 (took me 38.5 hours, did every single side quest + the Exiled prince DLC) and it's actually a good game, but no where near as great as Dragon Age Origins (and even Origins had some flaws.)

I guess the plot kind of develops the grand scheme of things in the Dragon age storyline (we know something big is happening) but it's still a bit disappointing. I guess the good side of all these complaints though is that they have no choice but to make Dragon Age 3 good like Origins.

Why not? The original race character designs were quite boring. Nobody's praising Origins for its imaginative depictions of its different races.

I'm playing on the DX10/DX11 renderer on High. Character models don't even come close to looking that bad.

If the combat is "button-mashing", then either A: That person played a console version which have the "no auto-attack" bug or B: They're on Easy and just mashing the skills to win.

Dialogue choice text is misleading, it's a sarcastic comment during the romance with Anders.

First quest is just a "Here's what you have to do, go explore", Second quest is catergorized by the game as a sidequest (Merely there to help you reach the 50 soverigns objective), Third quest is a chain that spans across the acts that can lead you to getting some good items, and the fourth quest is actually a recruitment quest.

Obviously the person that made that didn't actually play that game, or is part of the Legion of Fandumb that hate Dragon Age 2 with a passion and no actual proof or logic behind their hate.

Nobody is praising Dragon Age 2 for "imaginative depictions", mainly because man-devil creatures and crosses between Jak 2 and the elves from Final Fantasy 11 isn't imaginative. Even if you give the later Irish and Welsh accents.

I'm not even sure if it is more imaginative. Just because the stereotype of "oh, this is an elf, it must look like this, because it's a different and foreign species they must look radically different".
