I Hate Mardi Gras!!!

hate it! It is an evil holiday! Especially where I live! Let me explain...

Where I live, Mardi Gras takes place in the ghetto. That's not the problem though... it's all of the people. One of the concerns is the adults. They act incredibly immature. They'll go crazy trying to catch beads and toys. That's very immature. But it get's worse, they will steal them from children, catch them out of the air when a little kid is trying to catch them. When a kid DOES catch them, they'll force them to give the beads to them. That's why I ended up catching nothing with the family. They'll act like animals. I once saw two men trying to catch one bead, they ran towards each other and one got knocked onto the pavement. And when the adults don't catch a bead, they will curse R-rated swears. And there are lots of kids there, so that's just wrong.

An even bigger problem is the adults on the floats. They take Mardi Gras as an excuse to throw stuff at people. They throw with the INTENTION of hurting people. I've seen them hit adults, children, EVEN BABIES! They throw beads at babies heads! And those HURT! I have seen two people at the hospital in need of eye surgeries because they got hit in the eyes with beads REALLY hard! It's retarded! It's wrong! These people deserve to burn in hell! I hate it with a passion!

When I was a kid, Mardi Gras was fun, the people were nice, everyone caught lots of beads. 20 years later, what happened?

Maybe the problem is that Mardi Gras is not actually about beads except people are totally stupid.

Now I could go on a religious or philosophical rant but no one, including myself, wants to hear about that shit so I'll sum up what the true meaning of Mardi Gras is and maybe you can find solace in this simple, albeit true, statement.

I remember when I was at Mardi Gras in Florida, I was super young and still their were like 30 year olds trying to catch beads I was trying to get, like I even thought at the time wow, these beads look like their from the dollar store calm down.
