Why do you play video games?

Because they're fun..I also like to appreciate the game as i will one day be animating/programming for those games. Then I'm gonna be creating one as a whole. So i always see a game a lot differently. I notice more than what they're meant to show.

thanks to my dad, playing video games is one of those things I've been doing for as long as I can remember, its fun, it helps me let off some steam, relax, and I just really enjoy it.

Experiences like the ones we had with super mario all stars are the kinds we will take with us all our lives, while some of our parents and peers may dismiss such thoughts and feelings as petty and childlike you have to follow the inner voice that guides you. You only know what you feel and i feel like games have defined me.
They revealed to me that you don't have to think inside the box if you don't want to. In the realm of your hopes and dreams the impossible can be achieved. While the mundanity of life drones on you can always find solace and adventure in a virtual world, and really, who's to say whats real and whats not? It may be easy to lose sight why we love video games, but just remember, when you power down that PS3, it's not how many GB's of RAM it had, it was about the adventure.

You know what it's really starting to bother me that I made a quote this long. It feels like I didn't come up with it myself, like it doesn't mean anything unless I was the one that said it. Oh well it's up now, but yeah, life is boring, video games aren't. Unlike in life video games have a sense of adventure and danger, a suspense you just can't get in real life. Because lets face it, in a game you can outrun a car and a hail of bullets and live, in real life one bullet to the leg and your a mutilated mess of roadkill.
