I'm almost impressed that people have the gall to so blatantly steal from such a big community these days. I suppose it's easier to steal music and get away with it than it is to steal a flash game or movie, but it's not like Newgrounds members only stay on one site. Sooner or later, these thieves are going to be noticed. I don't get how one can expect to profit off of stolen music and not face any retribution.

Those pics are actually of another DJ by the names of Zwezda. Did a bit of digging and I'm assuming her soundcloud info is a coverup, because a lot of different people are tagged as "DJ Cetalea" on DON'T STAY IN. They're all different people, none of them look alike! I also searched her name "Laurin Hatcher" on FB. There are NO names like "Laurin" on FB! They're all "Lauren". I have a good feeling this person isn't even real. Also, for the tweets of people saying they saw her at a club that night, I'm not too sure if they actually talked to her, but if they saw the pics on DON'T STAY IN and assumed it was her, that'd be why. Plus it really isn't that hard to get a lot of followers on Twitter.

myows is a free online proof for copyright, it comes with legal templates for cases aswell. I guess i'll be using this now, and I'd recommend it to anyone else.

So I was wrong, she does have a FB profile, but they JUST joined FB recently, and goes by the name "Laurin Cetacea". A bit lame to have both your 'Real" name and your DJ name as your Profile name on FB.
Tells me nobody knows her. She only has 5 friends added. So I went on to reporting her profile as "Impersonating someone who isn't real". First time I've done that...ever. o_o

Do they have a mailing address? If so, the artists may want to try sending letters to them with signature confirmation that they received them. I wonder if there are any NG fans that are lawyers that would be willing to represent you guys for free and send in a cease and desist letter.

That was true a few years ago. I already had my music stolen by some other guy, but I got no support at all.

The audio portal is the main thing I use these days, I don't watch much flash anymore, and to see some asshole grub off of your guys's hard work pisses me off to no end. Especially once I visited cymbal in nyc and he introduced me to alot of xkore's a qarl's music. Sweet justice for you guys. Brewskis on me for coming together and working as a team.
