There are again people stealing music. This time not from NG artists but from friends of mine, actually from the guy who was mixing my band's (Eden) song for Eurovision.

Okay found another guy, he's got about 4 or 5 of my tunes and some others. I recognise a couple, the linkin park remix which was top 5 on here for a while and the "mau5trap" demo which is a BrokenCrossfader tune.

Need help recognizing the other tunes though and informing the original artists. If your stuff is on there, file a DMCA with facebooks automated thingy under the report options.

Yeh I found this guy called "DjClenchy" Who took some of xKore's songs, NIGHTkilla, MrFijiWiji and just every newgrounds artist in general, but I posted a thread in general and audio and he got wiped out in about 5 hours :D Also why does she have comments on her djlist file that they saw her Dj and her songs were great and shit, I mean if she Dj's with your songs and says their her own that's taking it way too far, couldn't you sue her for doing that?

It wouldn't be worth it. Even if you managed to get a 'guilty' verdict from the court on every count of infringement you threw at her, the amount of money it would cost to actually go to court (court fees, attorney's fees, transportation costs, etc.) would far outweigh the compensatory damages that the jury would actually award you.

Since everything here is released under a Creative Commons license, and is therefore not fully protected under federal copyright law, you would never be awarded 'full' damages (which can be up to $150k per infringement for registered works).
