Here is a poem I wrote in high school. Let me know what you guys think.

Screaming into the unknown
The thick and black darkness
that covers the human soul
covers the heart of man
Influencing his decisions
Infecting his mind
Rotting his soul
Heart grows heavy...falls to his knees
He is overcame by the world
Soon he will collapse and no longer have the strength
to deal with all these trials
He screams into the unknown
