Uhh, no. School shootings are quite rare. Guns are used more for things like self-defense and hunting.

It's funny because I just did an essay on the Second Amendment and guns for History.

I believe that as long as the person is safe and responsible, why shouldn't they own a gun?

Actually by beaches I meant Normandy and Italy, but by defeating Japan we saved China.

I never said that, but almost all the time just having a gun is enough to scare off an attacker. I carry knives with me all the time, I don't walk around with a holstered pistol.

And the FBI one didn't state how crime rates have been falling for years. Statistics are very easy to manipulate.

I did a google search and the only thing that came up was rifles and shotguns made for hunting, so I'm not sure what he meant

The whole reason that gun ownership is a fundamental right in the USA is so that the people can stand up to their government.

Without the right to bear arms, theoretically (and historically), governments can walk all over their constituents unchecked.
