question about sound in flash cs5 2011-03-01 16:12:27 Reply

hey everyone, i was just wondering if there is anyway to change the sound in flash so that the quality of the exported sound isn't terrible. I originally used a .wav file, and when i exported it into a .swf, the sound was of very low quality. But when I preview it in the flash document, the quality is normal (which is to say excellent). I even changed the audio format, and tried an mp3 version of the .wav, but still the quality was not good.

I'm just wondering if there's any way to change the options in the .flv file so that the .swf file doesn't sound terrible.

File > Publish Settings > select Flash > look for Audio Stream and Audio Event and press the Set buttons next to them. Adjust accordingly.

This is in all of the recent versions of Flash, not just CS5.
