Ice cream vans in the U.K. are known (or at least they were) for having Disney characters hand-painted all over them by non-Disney employees. Even as a child it was blatantly obvious that they were knock-offs. But for some reason I never saw or heard about anyone being prosecuted for copyright infringement.
