Artpocalypse Now Music Request

Greetings Audio Forum,

I have an art collaboration in the making: Artpocalypse Now, and I was wondering if any of you fine folks know of any audio or would be willing to prepare audio that, you feel, would fit the bill for an apocalypse.

I would like at least two tracks, one for the menu and one for the slide show.

I've looked a bit in the Audio Portal and I couldn't find anything that I really liked, so I was hoping that someone with more experience with the Audio Portal and an ear for good music might be able to help a brother out.

I will keep looking so any hints or tips for finding good audio are welcome as well.

This is quite nice, but it might be a bit too hopeful sounding for what I'm looking for. It could work, but I think a bit more doom and gloom would fit a bit better.

Good stuff.
Cataclysmic Puppeteer and Faith sold to Evil are good but a bit to intense, I think.
I also think that -SOES-Ghelo's unleashed is a bit too synthetic sounding for what I'm looking for, if you know what I mean..?

A loop would be awesome, long enough to not get repetitive though. I can't see using something that is too electronic sounding. Classical/orchestral would work the best, I think. I'm not really good at descriptives but I found this track in the AP:

and I think it would work really well for the menu, so something that could, more or less, follow along with that piece would be wonderful.

I whipped up a draft of what I envisioned for the menu here, maybe that could give you an idea of the kind of mood I have envisioned. A lot of the pieces in the collab, however, are comical, but I'm not really sure how that could be reflected in the music.

Heh, I'm a little bit overwhelmed at the amount of responses here (and a few PMs too).

I may have to include more than one track for the slide show (I think I'm going to go with the Valkyrie Chosen by ZStriefel for the menu), but I also want to be able to credit as many of the visual artists as I can, so I think that only one composer (who can make more than one track if they wish) would be the best fit.

I don't want anyone to feel burned, but I can't use every suggestion, nor every custom track. If you want to make a new piece for this, that's up to you, but, like I said, I can't use everyones music, so I'm going to have to pick what I feel suits the collab the best in the end.

As for suggestions so far:

I can see that there is a lot of talent in this forum and although I'm hearing a lot of quality tracks, I'm not really seeing any of the suggestions quite fitting the collab as well as they could.
