My Last Great Defense For The Us.

I wish I could move to the US, but being able to immigrate costs money. A lot of money, and just the time I spent there as a college student drained me. I would just like to say though, you all need to back off the United States. They have a rich history and, even though their government is messed up, their people are awesome. I loved the time I spent there.

The United States is not going to end in 2011, and China isn't going to take over the world. We are in the middle of another Red Scare when it comes to China. I am so sick of screwballs saying that China is growing in strength while the US is dwindling and then you've got other screwballs who have voiced support for a socialist takeover of the United States.

Point 1, China's communist takeover. People have been drinking too much koolaid. First of all, you see a ton of videos and pictures of the new Chinese war machine, their new military, etc. etc. Example:

This is what people show you, most of the time trying to use scare tactics to get you to vote their way. You see this most recently from a lot of liberals trying to make the point that Bush has ruined the country and China will take over.... yeah? THEY WISH!
The simple fact of the matter is that this overglorified view of a Unified, prospering china, is pure myth perpetuated by the Liberal media, THIS is the truth:

A simple review of unbiased reports would show you that the gap between China's poor and the wealth is causing tensions that have been growing since the 1980s. Tian a men is just the icing on the cake as to what is to come.

Point 2. Socialism is a good thing? Seriously? I am calling out any buffoon who thinks that a complete Government takeover of the Economy is a good thing. Workers rights and protections are very important, but they need to be tempered with ...what is affordable. Forcing an employer to pay for more healthcare for their employees, have racial standards, rising minimum wages, etc have made it impossible for small buisnesses to survive in a country that can just as easily import goods from countries that have no workers rights thus can make a product cheaper. This is what has been happening in the US and is a big reason why our economy is in the toilet. The Government can't run an RMV or a Post Office correctly, and you want to hand over a the rest of the economy? Seriously?

Second part of this point, those idiots who praise Canada, Japan, Swtiz, and even us in the UK for having socialized healthcare, let's explore this shall we?

My aunt also lost her life because she needed medical care and couldn't get to her doctor because of this foolishness...

These are perfect examples of what happens when you socialize healthcare, but there are far larger examples. People praise Canada, but what they don't see is that the people their are taxed 50% of their paycheck to pay for the healthcare system, and the hospitals can now refuse to see you when you're sick. Stories like this have popped up in Switz, Japan, UK, and Canada.

I don't think I know everything. I just can't stand people who say Great Britain, Canada, and Japan are great for having something... when they have never lived here. I am calling them out. Come live here, watch an ill loved one die because the doctor refuses to see them before the date of their visit, which is perfectly legal. When I was over in America, I got sick, I went to a hospital, yes I had to wait a few hours, but they saw me that day, gave me meds, and treated me. I was totally blown away, and some people see fit to criticise this?

I don't hate liberals, I hate socialists. To your points about Fox, TRUE they are not unbiased, but niether are CBS or NBC or even the BBC. They all lean far left. You guys are absolutely right when you say CNN is the only one that is anywhere close to being unbias, but as you also said, they print pointless garbage. So sometimes the only place to find a story that doesn't sit well with the liberal media, is to look to Fox news, otherwise you won't get the story.

I'm not even an American, but I think your country is great. I am just tired of hearing what we refer to as the Bush Derrangement syndrome.

Our taxes are nowhere near 50% and hospitals cannot refuse medical care. They can bump you down because of more serious medical emergencies, but that's about it.

The American economy is still better than China's. Just because their government isn't in debt, our economy still brings in more cash. Government's debt =/= economy.

The American economy is still better than China's. Just because their government isn't in debt, our economy still brings in more cash. Government's debt =/= economy.

it would only take say 1000 nukes to devestate America. If one went off in center new york imagen the damage it would cause. And saying it's second worst in the fith best is like saying I'm the worlds 4th best fighter. It's still an achevment never the less.

Try looking at Scandavian countries and/or the Netherlands healthcare. Some may call it a 'nany-state', but when you're injured or what else, you can go to any hospital and they will treat you. No matter if you're insuranced, they are required to aid you.
Even homeless people here get a 'social benefit' and when they're not insuranced for medical care, the government (ie: the people) will pay for it. It's a good system and makes sure it extends and improves the quality of life - which a government should do in my opinion.
