Your level icon VS, Zombie hords

How well would that work for you? Remember you have to use your icon as a survival tool in both fighting and eating. How do you manage?

Also be sure to mention what level you are in your post, so when you advance to a higher level, if you ever do, your post won't seem nonsensical.

Me with my current level 26 switch blade, I'm pretty much screwed for fighting. Not only is this an extremely short ranged weapon but switch blades are small all the way around and could not inflict much damage to a zombie. The best I could do would be to cut their jugular mains which in and of itself is a terrible idea with a short ranged weapon because I'd be essentially sticking my fist into it's mouth. Not only that, but zombies have incredibly low blood pressure, so trying to kill it that way is pointless being that it essentially wouldn't work. I really would have been better off with the level 23 fire ax.

Now as a tool for food, this is significantly better. Should I ever run into a can that doesn't have it's own opener, which I would imagine would have to be very old, I could just stab it open. Of course this would have to be after I washed it in... Oh I dunno, acid, to rid myself any chance of catching the virus before I use it as a tool for food.

Those are nunchuks and i could easily crush a skull with those, me on the other hand, spiked gloves would be effective at close range, no scratches to the arms, left or right hook to the head should put the spikes through the brain, thus killing the zombie.

That and the fact you can build gloves similar to your icon on Left for Dead 2 and they happen to be awesome at killing hordes :D

As for me OP, it's very handy to stop myself becoming a Zombie, but not much else. If you get what I mean.

The Sai are a great defensive weapon and you can pierce the skull or stab the brain through the eyes easily.

Crowbar. Good for a couple i guess. Good stopping power. Axe is probably the ultimate NG weapon to use against zombies.
