Looking for Upbeat Medieval Theme 2011-02-20 18:11:18 Reply

Hai!
I'm working on a medieval fantasy-themed animation, and would like to have an original theme score for it :P

I try not to use copyrighted music; then I have to credit the source for the music and it just seems that much more un-satisfying haha.

I'm looking for a Fire Emblem kind of main theme.
If you got anything, lemme know thanks!

When i read your post, i immediately thought of this:

  • Heroes March (Extended) ~P~
Heroes March (Extended) ~P~ by HalcyonicFalconX

    Click to listen.

    Score
    4.37 / 5.00
    Type
    Song
    Genre
    Classical
    Popularity
    8,633 Views

It may be a bit generic, but i think it's just what you're looking for.
I remembered this song from when the composer of this song (HelcyonicFalconX) made a thread about this song being used in a trailer for a Halo game.
My brain stores this kind of useless information.

So what I basically read from that is that you want a neo-classical video game theme (not at all medieval) that sounds medieval (not at all like Fire Emblem), and you want original music because you don't want "to credit the source for the music."

Coolio, thx for the post!

And to the above post, no i will definitely credit the creator/composer of the score.
what i meant by my OP is that using copyrighted music is kinda amateurish unless its royalty free (like rly famous overused songs lol)

like if i used some Lord of the RIngs soundtrack, that would be rly obvious and kinda takes away from the film imo
