Sonic games and fans

Yo people. I've been a big sonic fan since I was a shorty, and still play them as a young adult now. About sometime last year, I signed up to Sega's own message mostly for that reason alone. Around the time Sonic 4 was announced, the shit hit the fan and I was at the boards to witness all the bullshit we sonic fans are known for now. Many topics were made complaining about sonic's model, the graphics, sonic's quill size, eye color an' all dat. Then there was that petition to buy sonic 1 on sonic 4' release, and the infamous Aknotholeresedent. Nuff said there. Not only that, but I've been around to hear people complain about anything they can about the 3D games while completely disregarding the good points, and basically being assholes to anyone else not being 2D sonic purist. I was even harassed for about 5 or 6 pages because I said I liked Sonic adventure 2 more then Sonic 3 & Knuckles, even though both games are the shit anyway.

Point is, I'm just posting this to simply ask: Where do you stand on sonic games and the fanbase, and you don't have to answer both in one post. This is just for discussion to, I wont be an ass just because of a disagreement.

The Sonic games are fine, pull your head out of your ass and you'll see too that even Sonic Heroes was good. It's just the Sonic fandumb is full of idiots, which leads to most of the Sonic hate.

Like if you make a video insulting the pairing of two Sonic characters, you'll get more hate comments than if you made a video explaining why a popular Sonic game was bad.
