It depends where you are.

Somewhere in Africa-Hell no

Where I live (Ohio)-Definitely

It also depends what I can take with me. It's extremely important to get a head start by using things like matches and knives. Although they're not permanent items, they'll help you with the first few weeks while you make camp (which you're going to inevitably have to do).

It depends on the land really, for example, It would be much harder for me to survive in a desert then a wooded temperate area.

I could probably survive, I know how to tell which bugs I can eat, how to build basic shelters, a fire, and hunting, and cleaning some animals.

but all that really comes down to the area.

It depends on the kind of land I am in. In a forest I should be able to survive for quite a while especially if I had a gun, but I would not be so lucky in the arctic and desert regions.

I'd survive for a few good months, but because I only know how to catch small animals (rodents) who have nearly no fat; I would die from lack of fat in my diet.

Haha I'm a huge fan of Les myself! Saw all the episodes Survivorman.

Yeah, rabbit starvation is serious shit. Though its symptoms only start appearing in a few months so you'd be fine as long as you don't stay Stranded for too long.

Hmmm, now that you mention it...No you're doing it alone. A bro could be helpful, then again he could slow you down.

Well a gun would be useful as a tool, yes. But shooting large animals could be potentially more dangerous than simply leaving them alone. An injured bear is almost certain to attack you. But if he's just chilling there you can walk away slowly and he won't even look think about eating you.

Hunger is the best sauce. Hah, I can't believe I haven't heard that saying.

We were doing fine without no internet for like 50'000 years.

If I was on a deserted island with a huge freshwater pond, fruit trees, and no natural predators I could live for a while. But obviously my lifespan, and everyone's, would wane due to lack of dental care, medical care, etc.

I reckon I could survive in nature under one condition: I'd need my classmate's dad. He's the ultimate survivor, he always carries a huge knife, he fishes and last but not least he can drive pretty much any vehicle (which could come in handy if we found one). Also he has awesome survival techniques, like cutting open sea urchin's and baiting fish with their mussel-like interior. I think that with him by my side I could conquer any climate.

Sure I would maybe a week at max. I always carry my knife so I'll have a weapon. My uncle thought me a snare trap that I can use to catch small animals for food.

Probably not...I mean, the body is capable of doing some incredible things when shit's on the line, so I may surprise myself having never hunted before, scavenged, built a shelter out of my surroundings...shit like that. I imagine instincts would play a big factor in survivability. But all in all it's situational. If there were enough food to live off of, if I didn't get infected with some horrible disease like "Getting-Mauled-By-A-Bear Flu."

It's all situational. I'd throw my own chances as 62% and I'm optimistically hoping I'm underestimating myself.

Luckily for me, my mother was raped by a bear, so I am actually half bear, half human. Because of this, I weigh about 300 pounds and have claws. I can also digest most types of berries and various plants found in most North American forests. My keen sense of smell would also come in quite handy.

Plus, I went fishing once.

I could probably survive in several climates, but most successfully in one with hot summers, cold winters and temperate springs with I FUCKING HATE AUTUMN autumns.

It's not quite warm enough to be comfortable, and it's not quite cold enough to feel good. In addition, the extra coating of fallen leaves, barring a coniferous forest or woodland, could in some circumstances make it extra-difficult to track. The leaves could also hide more dangerous creatures that are still about for a little bit.

It looks nice, at least. Winter looks nicer.
