The opera has a well-known name in of a person who actually had a fan base, if the talent is there I see no problem. Or are you unaware what an opera is? It's not like they're making a sitcom loosely based on her life, it's people with gallant voices spreading vocal jizz across the stage with situations that can grab you by the balls. And I'm not even an opera fan, you should check out the pipes on some opera singers. If they have the talent, go for it.
