Not necessarily. I dislike Bieber because of the quality of his music. I am not jealous of anything about him, like i have said before in earlier posts, his music is mass produced, soulless, and unoriginal.

So what? His hairstyle is original, costing $750 to buy. He has a high paying job at disney, just like any other person working as an actor for them. He's a young artist. You see young artists all the time right now. He makes loads of money. Bill gates makes loads of money. I bet, if you aren't a linux, PS3, or Mac user, you would be using Microsoft products.

I agree to some extent. I personally hold no grudge against his songs. His popularity as an artist bothers me not so much on itself.

What i do hate about Justin Bieber, is that he's being used to turn music into a profit machine to ridiculous proportions. even within his one year of mediocre music, he's been pushed forward in a marketing campaign by Disney and he gets praise and awards for the biggest part by his own PR managers.

In particular, I heard they were making a movie about his life and he's not yet famous for one year. he's not made music the non teenage girls really enjoyed and even now he gets a movie about his still budding carreer...

He's being compared to the biggest stars in the music industries, even before he's had the chance to actually do something big.

Overall, Justin Bieber is not about his music, but simply about turning an artist into a walking advertisement and see how easily the general public is manipulated.

Now you can probably say that music has always been about the money, and commerciaism, but disney is turning it (just like everything else they touch lately) into a sick perversion.

Now, see, that is almost a legitimate excuse to hate on Justin Bieber. If he has been famous for not one year and his mass commercialism outweighs his art, then blame the P.R. and marketing behind him, not Justin himself.

As a person, I can appreciate Justin, but it's the concept I really hate.

This is going to sound like I'm jealous, but it really isn't that. He doesn't bother me too much.
Basically I dislike his popularity, I don't like how everybody on the planet has heard of him and how all I hear anymore is Twelve year old girls screaming about him.

Seriously, my cousin is in love with him, he's her Facebook profile picture, all her statuses are about him. One of them was even telling people to leave him alone. It's like these girls are best friends or girlfriends of him. I think that's what really grinds my gears, is that they all seem to think they know him or that if they met him he'd want to be their best friend.

I also just don't like him music, it's samey, irritating and all his songs just sound like one long song that never changes. Always talking about one girl, the same thing every time.

His look also annoys me, his hair is exactly the same as all the other pop-fags yet people seem to think it's so original. Plus his baby face makes him look incredibly gay. Not that I'm homophobic at all, it's just I really think that he puts this image on for popularity with girls.

Oh and from watching the videos of him when he does something stupid, like walking into a door etc. he actually seems like an utter arsehole who I would personally hate to have as an acquaintance let alone a friend. He just really seems like an unbearable person to be around.

Justin Bieber is widely hated because he does not do much to appeal to the demographics outside the younger age groups. He becomes a problem similar to what Barney the Dinosaur has. These people do not try to throw in anything for the adults and thus their audiences are limited to the point where people outside the demographic are simply not into it at all. His movie even has 1.1 on the IMDB right now despite having a 70% on RottenTomatoes!

It's not that I hate him, it's just that his fanbase couldn't be more mindless.

Also, he sings about things he knows nothing about and nothing new, most of his songs are generic "love" songs that leave no doubt that they're from a"feel good" puppy-love driven teenage mind with no real concept of real or romantic love. That shit pisses me off.
