Me three.
I wonder how long until someone posts star trek...
Catholic. I hold my beliefs in God.
But if I'm wrong, I'm okay with that too.
agnostic atheist.
whenever evolution was proved and then the realization that there are hundreds of different religions and they all think their religion is the right one... it all started coming together.

WHY CANT MORE CATHOLICS BE LIKE YOU!??!?!? I meet so many extremeist catholics.

I reject the concept of religion threads more than the idea itself. All it does is spawn hate and chaos among users. IMO mods should delete them and ban the OP as soon as they appear.

Finally a person with a religion that I can agree with, was it really that hard for someone to say this?
I'm actually a Deist. It's pretty cool, since I don't have to be religious and shit. Go look it up at Wikipedia, and you might be persuaded to become one.
I was formerly known as "Jedi-Master."
"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."--Dr. Seuss
Well, I think extremists would see my reasoning of "Believe in God, but be cool with whatever actually happens" as more of a "I'm doubting God exists and am preparing for the worst case scenario."
Odds are they're not going to follow that route.
How dare all of you revoke God, the very being who has blessed you with life and the world itself! The ignorance of you people astounds me.
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Genesis, 1. 26"
Enlightenment shadows stupidity.

It is more than just an opinion, The Bible is holy word of God himself. All who do not live by his word will burn in eternal hellfire.

Still an opinion, even if it was written in a book a couple hundred or so years ago...

How is it just an opinion when it is the factual word of God himself? Can someone explain this to me please?

Nice to see some Christians who feel this way. Makes a very pleasant change.
I'm unsure what I believe. I think I believe in Jesus and all that, but I'm unsure as to whether that's just because, though my family's not even really religious, it was just sort of there when I was growing up. You can't escape Christmas, or that we sang hymns and prayed every day in assembly at school (doubt that happens anymore).
I like the far eastern religions, and a lot of what I know I believe is more along those lines. Even if there isn't a god in the sense of Christianity or whatever the fuck else I believe in nature and the circle of life and all that shit.
That makes me sound like a hippie but I'm not oh God I swear.

*Sigh* Again attempting not to start a flame war here... What proof do you have (im ganna kickmyself for asking that later on i feel it....)

Well if you want to get technical there is no proof that god does or doesnt exist or, has or has not existed. This mean if you believe or dont believe it's an opinion.

What proof do i have? The Bible itself states that it is the word of God, what more proof could you possibly need?

But there is proof of God everywhere, even if you choose to wickedly disregard his written word. Do you really think we could have lucked out to have the sun go down, the sun go up, the tides come in, the tides go out? You can't explain that.

Neither can you.
