I don't know about you, Shade, but I listen to what sounds good, regardless of where it comes from. I'm pretty sure everyone listens to at least one song that doesn't come from their country.

I usually listen to Japanese and German. One of the bands is called "Dir en Grey". You should check them out.

It's limited to vocaloid(songs tend to be in japanese). I just don't know how to find new songs these days. I don't even know if my favorite band has released a new single.
