Well I don't care if he's lying or not, I never implied that he was. I just want to know how far the deadline has been pushed back. Some say he wants 3 more days...but he mentioned something about sunday, so I'm not sure of the exact date.

I can't believe that one of Vince's fellow fans would send a virus to Shin because of a flash competition! I'm one of Vince's fans, and I know for a fact that he would never condone sending a virus to a competitor. A person that leaves an abusive review on one of his movies, maybe, but never a competitor! He's a good guy!

btw, how bad is a trojan virus anyway? I don't really know too much about stuff like that.

Trojan's give the sender backdoor entry to the host's computer, so it can be fatal.

Thanks Blitz Mage! But I still don't know how Shin would know it's one of my fans unless they said "This is for Vince" or something like that. So far, no names have come out. And I still don't know when we are supposed to duel. I've gotten many e-mails asking me why there wasn't a duel today and I told them that we have to reschedule...but I don't know the exact date. It would be nice to know.

That still didn't explain anything about it being my fans...it could have been anyone and he's just assuming it's one of my fans.

Ok, after reading the topic, I can see two general points here.

1. Shin's comp was infected by a Trojan Horse virus, thus screwing him over.

2. It has been assumed by Shin that one of Vince's fans did this.

I'm gonna say right now that viruses are wide spreading. As it is, I caught a Trojan Horse virus on my comp the other day (Got on my comp through IRC). Unless Shin has some concrete proof that it was a Vince fan, he shouldn't go accusing such people. Of course, the fact that some Vince fans were looking for help on doing something to Shin is impossible to ignore. So really, they might've been, but they also might not be.

I don't see why Shin would've made any of this up anyway. He was the one who challenged Vince, and, from what GoldCrow said, he had his almost entirely done. Therefore, Shin actually DID get a virus.

It's good to see that this duel is still occuring, even if on a later date. I don't mind waiting, but it's still a pain.

To those who think Shin is lying, it's obvious he isn't. To those who assume that it could be a Vince fan, take into consideration the large number of viruses that spread out throughout the world. There is only a small possibility that this virus WAS from a Vince fan.

Exactly. DLA23 even said that someone sent him a trojan virus through e-mail. I've even gotten e-mails with viruses attached to them. But the thing that is pissing me off is that Shin is blaming this on me when there is no proven fact that it was any of my fans! Virus goes to shin, as he knows you have a fleet of fans willing to 5 your entries. Virus fucks up shin for 2 days, so who to blame, but Vince's fans. Don't get me wrong, If i was in a flash duel and got virused, I'd blame my opponent's fans because its the common thing to do in that situation.

I know people stoppped talking in this thread a few days ago, but oh my god, there is absoulely no proof that any one of Vince's fans sent him the trojan. Trojans attempt to attack my computer pretty much every day, does that mean Vince's fans sent me them? I don't think so.
