Egyptian kids have been complaining for a little while; the past 18 days. They destroyed a 30-year-old dictatorship.

The world has shitty times, shitty places, and shitty events. But as a whole this world is a good one and the human race does have a large capacity for good. That's the problem though. We could have much much better things in life, and not just in America.
We're slowly reaching the point where we can start on building Utopias, but our current ways of life is effectively restricting ourselves from that, keeping such prospects open only for the economically fittest, when truly everyone could share it.
And that's what I am personally complaining about. Sure it might not be useful but I don't see what else I can do right now.

It's not just America. It seems to be a thing in all 'first world' countries. You don't understand that while rioting might work IN Egypt against a Dictator who is widely despised, it will do little to any shit against any of the problems our own country has. Protests, violent or not are a glorified version of complaining and isn't all that hard to achieve.

1) Blame is irrelevant
2) DIrect comparisons are irrelevant
3) If something is good, it's counterpart is not inherently bad
4) Complaining and criticising are similar, but different. You're complaining if your talking about a problem with no plans to improve it. You're criticising if you are talking about a problem with a clear plan to improve it
5) America and Egypt are not so different
6) America has no real power anymore. It's greatest asset these days is its illusion of power
7) The real power is in Brazil, China and India
8) The American economy (and almost anything) can be fixed with dedication, hard-work and energy
