You should learn how to touch type, it not only increases your speed, but makes you more accurate. Using touch typing, I can type at 100 WPM. However, I imagine if I use a different keyboard, it would take me some time to adjust to the shape and size of the keyboard and each individual key.

Typing with my eyes closed in not a problem at all for me, in fact I'm doing it right now as I'm typing this, and I'm sure I'm not making any grammatical errors. I even know how to backspace and correct any errors I make without looking. I'm a bad-ass mofo when it comes to typing, and I'm not to shabby in timing.

Home keys. J and F. There are raised dots on them so that you can find them with your eyes closed. Then you just type like normal. I don't look at my keys when I type. Closing my eyes isn't really all that different.
