Music videos from what I've seen have gone really far down hill in the last 23 years or so. Look back at videos for Journey, Metallica, Foreigner, Guns and Roses, The Cure, John Parr, and other greats from that Era. Their videos had substance coriography, even some had a small story line in the background. This went on (a little) into the 90s. But midway through... something went horribly wrong.

Todays music video features someone who should be serving me chips and a sandwich at your local fast food restaraunt doing their little gangsta dance with a bunch of trampy bimbos sporting revealing clothing and boob and ass jobs. What the hell happened?
