True Crime: NYC was one of my favourite PS2 games and I was looking forward to the new game. If I think about it now though, L.A. Noire will just blow it away and seems like it could be similar.

It is a big loss for fans of the series. This is one of the games I actually really enjoyed for the gameplay and story all at once. I think it's unfortunate that it's been knocked off.

True Crime: New York was so much fun. I remember after completing the story I'd get into my beat cop uniform, get my police cruiser and patrol the streets, taking down all the criminals.
I'm saddened by the realisation that I won't be able to do this on a current generation console.

Damn, it looked as if it may of been fun.
But L.A Noire may take it's place because I heard while free-roaming, you had that option like in True Crime to assist police officers.
Either way the game was never hyped that much so it was at the back of my mind most of the time.
Well I'm relieved that Activision would rather create money making machines than to risk it on a series that doesn't sell well compared to Call Of Duty and World Of Warcraft.
