If by gay you mean more happy then i agree. He's a lively, cheery character. He just wants to have fun. He seems to become more gay and lively in later episodes.

Well, "they" would just be The-Swain, who is a damned good animator and one of the nciest blokes I've ever had the good fortune to bump into at an NG meet.
I think that Blockhead is at his best in the "Time Squad" series, where his unusual take on life bleeds across into more social situations, with various people. When he's on his own (with the conscience), it's not quite the same.
Also, your post has far too much "gay" in it. I fail to see how subtle changes int he drawing style make it homosexual.
