What´s that recording device??
Also if you have your daw, just import the midi to the DAW and render the project in a MP3, i have done this in reason, acid pro 6 and cubase, so i think you should have no problem with it.
Or just read this if you don´t have a DAW, just get audacity and follow the tutorial

Most microphone sounds are saved in WAV file , if that´s the case just get a media converter like Super C or find the one you think is the sexiest for you.

...
You have a .wav then, or whatever file type it saves it as.
You don't have a midi from recording your mic.
I have no idea what you're trying to establish here. But you want to convert to mp3, so wav to mp3?

You might be exporting your 'recordings' incorrectly, then - from the sound of it, you might not be recording, in the normal sense, but playing into your computer using your instrument as an input device (which would allow you to create MIDIs). If you're getting a MIDI when you save the track then most likely you're exporting the sequence that you input using your instrument. Try going into the 'Export Audio' option in your DAW (whatever it may be - it's an option on all of them) and try to get a WAV out of it. That format can easily be transfered to an Mp3.
I hope this helps .
Need some music for a flash or game? Check it out. If none of this works send me a PM, I'm taking requests.

Lol dude, just use this to convert your file into a .mp3
If you dont have an actual AUDIO file yet, then go into your project and EXPORT it as a .wav, .mp3, or whatever the hell you want.
People just got confused because you were using the wrong terms.
