I'm not sure if this is an insult, was it?

Not really. I'm just saying you should first prove your point.

Yeah, just seemed like an insult to me...

You know, you should never let insults or negative comments sway you. You know, just saying.
Yeah, it didn't really bother me, it was just you said something about not being assholes, and I was thinking, "HYPOCRITE!"(but, you know, only if it was an insult)

I have that kind of problem. I speak to vaguely. People get the wrong idea sometimes.

Okay.
It wasn't an insult.
Many people are better on paper than digital. Mostly, this is due to being able to control things such as pressure and angle more easily, as well as having a "feel" for things. Drawing through a computer is effectively putting a barrier between you and the medium that you ahve to break through in order to properly draw.
Did I get it right?
I have nothing to say that is at all relevant.

you may all carry on...
Yes, yes it is.
Hi.
So first of all I wanna point out that its inane to ask for peoples opinions, then when they are negative, to dismiss them and call them assholes. Do you want honesty or do you want praise? Because to me it looks like your asking for honesty, and so I'm gonna be frank with you.
If we're taking art seriously here, then this really doesn't amount to much. The anatomy is ridiculously skewed, there's no texture anywhere really, the sky is a stark blue for some reason, the leaves are fat and amorphous. The crow has no eyeballs, the moon isn't even a complete circle, and the "bark" is just scribbles.
I'm kind of curious where the two hours of work went to be honest? Because it looks a bit like a frame in a flash animation.
Again, I'm just being honest here, please don't call me out on being a dick.
Anyways, if you want to improve artistically, you should start by drawing from life, with pencil and paper. Learn how to perceive things and represent them accurately. If you can achieve that, then you can add a personal style. You can't just doodle something bad, then when criticized, say its your "style" to draw that way.
Now if you're one of those guys with a tablet who is only interested in drawing on the computer, well, I can't really speak to that, as I don't have experience with it, but I don't see it getting anywhere if your intent is to not practice basics and make exceedingly simplistic, pretty half-assed cartoony pictures and demand admiration.
Cheers and good luck.
I only dismiss if it's not useful. Now, like I said, wasn't something I went all out on, was just something I did due to boredom, and it is, technically, a bit from a flash frame. So, thanks for being frank with me.

About the pic, I'll say that it's absolutely needs more work. But hey, all of us didn't get to be so great at drawing in just a short amount of time. OP just needs practice. He has potential to improve. We all do. I'll also advise you to not use flash at this time, because making an awesome pic in flash is as difficult as hell. Use pen and paper instead. Use a traditional media before digital because it will make you improve faster.
Meh. I am just receiving the treatment I logically should be receiving. I'm not someone who shoves my own misstakes to the side, I take responsibility for them. For me right is clearly right and left not right, it is left. If I don't understand, I ask.
But the OP needs to adjust the volume of his butthurtedness (heard that so many times now it has stuck in my head.), preferably the lower side. Being loud or making excuses about something you don't like should not be tolerated by ANYONE, yes?
Yeah, I agree the anatomy is pretty messed up, not functional. The shading, I know I need to work on my shading, I've never been great at it. There's alot of things I could improve on. My excuses, my bad, they were really just there to show I'm not taking any of the harsh words badly, so go and criticize. I take it, think about it, and, usually, accept it. I'm not much for realism, so I tend to go for a more cartoony look. I find realism a little dull, cartoony, more creative, but that's just me.

It's alright... My comment wasn't supposed to sound offensive, but I am sorry you felt that way.
Even if this doesn't look good (we're going with art forum standarts here. Please take a look at some of the good artists threads) it isn't like the world is sinking in water. The more you draw, the more you will improve, so if you do want to improve, keep on drawing. One day, you will find out that you actually have become better after comparing previous works with the current. That without even realizing it during the time youve been practising between past and now. If you do want to take your skills at drawing to the next level, I advice you starting on something new. Leave this behind, and imagine yourself achieving the next masterpiece of the future.
Gewd luck
