Actually I am working on a flash thingy as we speak. I am just as interested in the programming aspect of it as well as the animation aspect. Expect some things from me in the future, refining my illustrations has more priority to me than animation and programming though.

I really love how you can use so many different styles. However, my favorite images in this thread are your line drawings, particularly in the more graphic novel style. Have you ever thought about doing a comic (be it a web comic or a published work)? I honestly think it would be very much worth it, considering you could gain a good amount of practice in whatever style you decide to draw said comic in and expand your fanbase at the same time (if that sort of thing is important to you[right now]). Regardless, in the eyes of someone who is not a professional, and more than likely never will be, your work looks to be at that professional level.

First off, drawing is a learned skill, anybody can do it. It requires however, sacrifice. You must sacrifice time to draw well, this might mean giving up other hobbies or in the cases of extreme improvement over a short period, talking to people and having a life. lul. You can become a professional if you only follow the path to becoming one. I promise youif you drew one thousand images and could see what was wrong with them as you were going along, and eliminate your general drawing mistakes you would be a far better illustrator than I, exponentially so. I have drawn probably less than 200 images in my entire lifetime. If you drew one image everyday for a year you could probably become better than me as long as you had the focus to improve. Many artists make the mistake of committing to a certain style of drawing and forever limiting themselves in that way. People like amateur anime style artists especially. Its a damn shame.

I do not commit myself yet to a large project like a comic because I am still in the process of maturing as an artist, I cannot really even get consistency in my own drawings unless i am actively trying to do so. When I can be more consistent without expending great effort to do so I may start taking on larger projects.

That being said this is a good place for me, there are many artists here around my own skill level, and I like how you have to be scouted to post, so there isn't the riffraff from beginners cluttering up the art portal the way there is on deviantart. True illustrators of a professional level practice on Conceptart.org. I still have years ahead of me at my pace before I can compete with people there.

The most important advice I can give an artist who wants to get to a higher level is persistence, to never stop drawing. Draw everyday if you can, and show people, but not just regular people because reg.people will say just about anything is good, show artists who are better than you. They have the knowledge to tell you what is wrong and how to improve.
That being said, anybody is welcome to crit my work, but generally unless you are an artist yourself, you wont be able to tell me how to improve, just what you see is wrong. Eventually youll reach a point where most regular people wont be able to see anything wrong, but there will still be mistakes, that's what other artists are for.

It's such a small thing but it glares out to me in every piece I see a human profile in: you need to fill out the skulls more. Your brain houses are much too narrow when seen in profile. Overall, your art's pretty boss. I love the thick hips and legs.
