I would move there.

I wouldn't. I can't connect to the Internet from that far away.
Even if I could, having a 1.339 second ping would be really inconvenient.
Besides the lack of Internet, I probably would.

Fixed. I knew I did something wrong.
Forget about playing any over-Internet multiplayer games like that. Even just posting on the BBS would be awkward due to there being so many new posts that you weren't even aware of since you last refreshed.
Worse, most threads would already be locked or deleted before you even had time to post, and you wouldn't be aware of any new bandwagons until it was too late and you unintentionally break the combo.

Perhaps a large network of relays through the several Astronomical Units could relay information?
A lot of people have pictures for their signatures. But that's stupid. I'm not going to do that. That is so 2008. Not even kidding. Jeez, you guys are stoopid.

That wouldn't help any. Mars would have to have to have its own internet. (That can also connect to Earth's internet and Earth can connect to it)
I love how fast this got derailed, and for the record maybe.

My also a dirty man? I'm sorry, I don't own any dirty men, you must be mistaking me for someone else.
Hmm, living on mars would have a few drawbacks here. First off, at current and future technology. It would be a one way mission. We would likely have sent supplies years in advance, and have orbital supplies as well. So these first martians living there, would have to supply and do everything, I mean everything. It would be close to when Columbus came in the mayflower.
Life will be hard at first. As there would be no contact with earth for awhile, at least terrestrially.
The first martians would have to grow there own crops, use the martian regolith as a solar shield. It's no cakewalk. But you would be the first to live and and populate a new planet.
This will probably happen, mabye in the end of my lifetime. But first thing to know is that for this to ever be possible to happen. We will need a close unified goverment. We will need to have reliable new space thruster technology. Mabye a scaled up version of (Vasmir)
In the far flung future, we will probably use such exotic fuel sources such as, anti matter, laser propelled ect ect. I like the anti matter idea, as it would get us to pluto in 9 hours :). We have a lot of technology's that have been discussed but never put through theory. One such spacecraft that could of worked was called Orion, NASA had the idea to launch hydrogen bombs out of the end of the spaceship, where a giant pusher plate would then as orb the shock wave and provide thrust. Such a system could push this craft to 25% LIGHTSPEED!!! But congress however didn't like the nuclear fallout of such a rocket so they shelfed it.
Who knows tho, just my take on it :)

I believe Mars was once the Earth we live in now. I would not consider living there, because there's no proof of humans having the requirements they need to live in a desolate place.
Not needed, non needed, no one bled.

To get that sort of delay you would need a ping of like over 15 seconds. I mean even if you have a 5 second delay, it shouldn't be a problem.
If Mars were to be terraformed, by that time I imagine instant communications between Mars and the Earth (and other off Earth colonies) would be the standard and there would be enough established infrastructure to make living there pretty nice... so why the hell not?
We'll need a system of interplanetary colonies to help preserve the human race anyway in case of a catastrophe, a terraformed Mars seems like a pretty good place to plunk some humans down. Might as well be me.
This sig is 100% effective protection from all hexes, curses, evil spirits and bad karma. Guaranteed.
^ So true, if there was and random catastrophe ie, gamma ray burst, grey matter, or some crazy science creation gone mad. We would need another planet to live on, I mean it be nice right?
The main thing we need and the thing that we should do. Create a unified government to hurl massive amounts of cash into space funding. Hitler tried to do this but he chose the evil way lol.
Did anyone read into Project Orion? The space craft that never was built?
OP is fucking dumb.
Mars' high is -64 degrees. Terraforming is possible but not easy.
On top of that, Mars recieves 10% of that of Jupiter which is enough to make you very sick in 2 weeks, and even kill you in 4.
Oxygen is only possible by using a process where there are many plants in this ships "air conditioning" system.
Water is only found far under the surface.
You can only hold 20 years worth of food.

No Electricity.
StrapOnFetus You can make it a 2 way mission with the Space Shuttles.
