I'm new to flash and i know a little of action script but im not sure how you write it and the flash tutorial on new grounds are outdated and im trying to make games so is their any good flash tutorial to teach me how to write action script

you will notice that alot of people will do that on NG...

but the Tut's on NG are actually up to date very well like the main thing you wanna concern yourself with is whether you wanna work with Action Script 2.0 or 3.0 its up to you

Well I've only recently started getting into AS3 and have found these few resources great for starting off:
Senocular
Republic of Code
AS Gamer

But these guys are right, after a starting off point like the first link I posted you can pretty much learn by Googling different bits and pieces after that :)
