But they took Tomb Raider took it a little bit to far, with Lara's massive tits.

Chloe. She had a fine ass and gorgeous Aussie accent. Her ass was even a joke in the game, her last words in Uncharted 2 were "Admit it, you're going to miss this ass". And Drake does indeed watch her leave his eyes looking sadly towards her ripe bottom.

Also idk, I miss those pointed tits.

The female characters you get in the Dragon Quest series- from the first to the recent, have revealing clothes that you can put on your female players for added sex appeal.

I did it.

Tomboys are the new thing now. which is awesome.

Also more proof that woman aren't the only oned subjected to being 'sexed up' in games;

Because apparently Chris Redfield spent the time between Code Veronica and 5 just working out.

I agree with what some people already brought up; There is not that much difference between male and female characters when it comes to in what degree they are designed to be attractive.

Sure, most female character are designed to have a lot of sex appeal, unless them being ugly serves a purpose. But a lot of male characters aren't exactly made to be ugly fucks either. In fact, most male main characters have some features that woman are (classically) attracted to, wouldn't you say? They're almost always strong/muscular/athletic, self-confident, charismatic, heroic, talented, nice, intelligent, cool or sensitive. Usually they have multiple of these features, if not all of them.

I think that indeed most people just don't like to play as unattractive characters. While girls might not like to play as ugly females, I think at the same time guys don't like to play as dumb, weak, cowardly douchebags either.

Even Japanese and Western RPGs aren't immune to it.

Silent Hill 3 sucked.

No way, the end sucked though. Mainly because unlike every other SH there's basically just the one ending.

Also I agree Heather is cute I guess, but she's actually a realistic looking person. So is Mary from SH2. Most women in SH are pretty normal looking people that aren't over sexualized. SH4 is probably the exception.

Also I'd say in Zelda none of the females are really made to be sexy. Some might argue with Nabooru though.

What I don't like about female characters is the fact, that their bust size is almost always totally unrealistic. I mean, women who run around with breasts as large as Lara Croft's sure have an aching back all of the time. A very skinny women with so large breasts... yeah, sure.

Second, I hate it that female characters in most RPGs are hardly dressed at all and yet it counts as wearing "armour". I always wondered how exactly a chainmail bikini does protect you from enemies attacks? I fucking hate that, almost makes me feel bad playing those games because it somehow confirms the chliché of fat and ugly nerds playing video games and jerking off to the female characters in the game. >:(
