So I'm wanting to make a Lightning Washing Pole while keeping my chaos one, but I already killed Shiva.
SL56 at Anor Londo, anyone willing to trade me one? I have scales, demon titanite or sunlight medals... or anything else you'd want. Except BKGA, I do have Greatsword though

PVP is 125
People don't Co-op on NG+
They stay at 30-50 because that's when people are playing Anor Londo and that's when you're most likely to get summoned.
its a great game. I love the item multiplying glitch maxing my souls out then I just PWN ass in Multiplayer.

The new DLC is great, it really breathes new life into the Online component and I am finding it easier than ever to find phantoms at my level, though that might be because everyone's coming back for the new content.
I was lucky enough to be able to block out any spoilers from the new stuff and let me say that there's a lot of really cool lore stuff to uncover, and i've only scratched the surface.
So I just bought the DLC, and installed it, I'm on my NG+ and I haven't gotten yet to the part where I can see the new stuff. There's a problem though. I bought the DLC from the US store but my game is UK, so I'm not sure if it's going to work..
Without giving away any spoilers, how do I know if the DLC worked?

Do you know how to start it?

I'm supposed to see this crystal golem after the hydra right? If I see him then does that mean the DLC works?

After you have freed Dusk of Oolacile you have to go to Duke's Archives. Once there you will find a crystal golem there, defeat him and get the broken pendant. Then return to where you found the golden golem and there will be a dark portal there, activate it and then you will begin the DLC content.
I was going to make a new character strictly for pvp SL 120. I need help, my plan was to be using either a great scythe or falchion along with darkmoon blade.I want to know which armor i should use if i want to be moderatley mobile and have good defense. I was thinking the paladin armor with some tweaks. I also want to know what my stat build should be, this will be my first pvp build so help is appreciated.
Tarkus is dead.
There is no god.
Saw this in my local gamestop for like $20 or something and I was considering picking it up. Or possibly Demon's souls, any pros/cons between them? Or is Dark souls basically just a newer version?

They're both worth playing through at least once. Dark Souls carries over many elements from Demon Souls and gives it a lot of nods in terms of npcs, some pieces of equipment and a few enemies. That being said if you're only going to buy one, get Dark Souls so you can experience the online.
Seriously though, get both, they're easily the best games this gen.
Just realized that when I last posted here I had only completed the game once. Now I've completed it easily over 20 times, having made every build possible and basically have the game memorized.
Probably put in over 1500 hours into this game's pvp.

Dude, just get both versions! Demon's Souls is my personal favorite game on the PS3 and Dark Souls borrows many elements from it.

Well, Finally picked up a copy. Going to go test out my skills
Never before in my life have I been so terrified to heal and restore.
Resting doesn't respawn bosses does it? I'm guessing yes.
Is Dark Souls a direct sequel to Demon's Souls that continues the story or is it just a spiritual successor? It looks cool, but I can't play Demon's Souls because I don't have a PS3.

It's a spiritual successor, but there are a couple of tid bits that it (Dark Souls) borrows from Demon's Souls (most notably the gameplay).

Never mind all that. Its fine. Just getting familiar with everything.
Although fuck the bell gargoyle.
" oh hey this boss is going pretty good I think I might be getting bet... oh nope there's two of them and they're both spewing fire at me "

Summon Solaire and the fight becomes easy as fuck. Bell gargoyles also can't begin to compare to Maneaters in Demon's Souls. The same concept; fighting two gargoyles at once, only you're on a narrow path and they have powerful magic that will fuck you up a lot more than the fire attack of the bell gargoyles.

You know I haven't been able to find any of Solaire's summon signs. I'm human and I've talked to him but nothing ever shows up. I just ended up summoning some other dude for help.
But I have been wondering, is everyone else dead as well? There's that one douche in firelink shrine that just keeps talking about waiting to go hollow but he looks pretty lively.

Actually, they're all undead. There's also the firekeeper and the fat guy who allows you to join the way of the white. You've only just started, there's several more npc's to find.

I've already found them and and more. Right now I'm in Ash Lake. I feel like I might have missed something though. I beat the gaping dragon and got through blighttown, and right through the great hollow. Idk it seems too easy so far.

That's an optional area.

I don't think anyone has found the gaping dragon to be hard and blighttown isn't so bad if you take your time (this rule also applies for all of the other areas).

You were complaining about the belltower gargoyles earlier.

Ha. Well its good to know that Ash lake is optional. I got cursed by a basilisk and then couldn't get past the hydra or w/e and also had a hard damn time getting back to firelink shrine.
Although after checking a guide it would seem that I did actually miss something in blight town. I still haven't killed the boss yet. Guess I'll go explore some more. Right now I'm farming down in Darkroot basin where you needed the crest of artorias to open the door.
