Ok - you guys realize that north-east Queensland floods EVERY year and they ALWAYS get cyclones, right? It's like feeling bad for people who live in Tornado Alley - They chose to live there, so they should know what to expect.

How clueless some people are. Seriously!! Until the recent flooding events, Queensland was in the grip of one of the worst and longest droughts ever. The last big flood was 1974, I was there for that one. They get cyclones, yes, but they are fairly rare too, and never category 5, usually category 1 or 2, except for the last big one (TC Larry) which was a 4. As for flooding every year, I dont think its ever happened 2 years running, let alone EVERY year.

Fucking Queensland and your damn weather. I live in Victoria so it's windy as fuck because of it.
