That's right ya'll. I did a burnout in front of the po-po. I am SO cool. However, I didn't really intend to, and I did get pulled over... I got out of a ticket by telling the guy that I was just learning stick, and didn't mean to. Then I made sure to not shift very smoothly pulling out. But still... I burned out in front of a cop! Am I a badass now?

It was fun watching the cop car take a good long stare at me, trying to work out if I'd just done a runner or not. In the end, he got the idea, assumed I was just a retard with the clutch pedal (which I was back then) and moved on.

A friend of mine did this in a parking lot once and there happened to be a cop car right there so he also got pulled over. He told the cop he was trying to show off for his friends and apologized and the cop let him off with a warning. This was surprizing to me, I was certain he was going to get a ticket.

To clarify, I've been driving stick since I was 16. I only told him I was just learning to get out of a ticket.
