It's only january and everyone is getting hit hard. We got snow in november, then we really got actual snow in Dec. So I live on the east coast. And last night we got freeze rain(Not hail, rain that freeze when it hits the ground.) and some snow. Now its beginning of Febuary and I'mma spend my birthday in an igloo 50 ft. in snow. If anyone wants to comment or post pictures about their yards or towns and how much snow they got they can. Because this is the Snowpocalypse.
I canceled plans last night because of the freezing rain, but it never happened. Just missed us. But other cities adjacent to us got fucked.

I live in Illinois, so we got hit a little bad just about an hour ago. We got out of school early and don't have any tomorrow. And of course, my driver side door lock got frozen, so I had do drive home in the blizzard while holding onto my driver side door and steering with only my left hand. And when I get home, my door is no longer frozen. Just my luck. The good news is that I have 4-wheel drive.

Atlanta had a snowpocalypse a few weeks ago. I ended up in a ditch on my way to work, and I spun out a few times with all the ice and snow everywhere, since we have no snow plows or salt trucks. The entire city shut down for a week and a half.
Imagine this, on every street in every city where the norm is 60 degree weather in the winter and 90+ in the spring and summer.
Fuck, I'm a french canadian and we haven't got any fucking snow in about 3 weeks now. This is a damn shame because I like to ski and I can't cause all I got is freaking ice and 50 mph winds all day long.

This is why I enjoy having four wheel drive. As long as you know how to drive in the snow and have four wheel drive, you shouldn't have too much trouble getting around.

Allready have around 8 inches here and it's all blowing and drifting. Plus the wind chill will be 15-30 below zero for the rest of tonight and tomorrow. For the first time in the 5 years i've been there the place i work at has shut down until tomorrow because of it, so i've got the night off. Other than that this SUCKS.
