Ah I see. The only reason earth can sustain life is because of a perfect distance from the sun. However there are god knows how many other suns with planets revolving around them and one of them might be able to hold life.

I highly doubt that's true. The universe is vast, and if life was formed on one planet I believe there's a high chance of there being more out there.

As for UFO sightings, I think there's usually a logical explanation behind them. I think people just like to try and cash in on their videos.

and even if they could reach us... why study our planet? there are plenty others... whats so special about people who think you can fly with a fire extinguisher...

Well actually most likely if they do exist they're aware of our existence because the universe was around way before we were, there were probably life forms already on other planets so they could me thousands of years ahead of us, maybe even more. There's that possibility.

Why our planet? We have an abundance of natural resources, we're a life form capable of thought. We're interesting.

And why do people think aliens are green, gray or ugly? Mostly because they would be an advanced race that has outgrown the appearance that we have, that or it would just be the way that they evolved in response to their planet's environment.

Now if they were human looking that would just delve way to far into Exogenesis and I really don't want to get into that.

That's really an invalid claim because we have no way of knowing how intelligent alien life is or if it's even possible to be aware of the life on a distant planet. You can say they may be aware of our existence but to say it's most likely is a stretch.

Of course, but when you say "we" are you referring to humans or just life on earth?

Could be, but there's no telling if they managed to evolve into intelligent beings, if they survived long enough to evolve to a high level of intelligence, if evolution works the same way on their planet, etc. It's all just speculation at this point.
