Meh, I thought the raptors one was kinda 7/10, good animation etc, but it was very predictable.

Congratulations to the winners - I can only hope that people interested by this sort of thing will check out the offerings from the latest Monthly Writing Contest, as the aim was to produce flash scripts. We have a good few writers in these contests and I'd love to see them get the credit they deserve, as well as helping flash artists to get inspired.

I never finished that part, so I copped out at the end of mine.
BUT I WAS STILL ON TIME, DAMMIT
with two minutes to spare

It's not a big deal, but it'll help things run smoother if you give the animators a little background check first. I'd be willing to help you out with this when the next Jam comes up.
We were all drunk, I even attempted a part with a hangover. It was shit. But regardless, we did try to finish it, but we all have lives of our own. You can't blame a bunch of alcoholic spammers for being lazy.
Some of them was pretty good, but other ones was some what boring.

If you're around this Friday, we'll be browsing the portal LIVE from 3-6pm EST, looking for gems from the past week. I'll make a post when we start, in case it's earlier.
Until 6pm EST? Just when the fifth monthly Friday Flood takes place in the art portal. How appropriate....
Congrats to the winners! Also, I just voted for the best of January, and I must admit there weren't any good animations to be truly in the top 10.
Congratulations for the winners.
And all movies were great, even when my story wasn't chosen.(It was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy to long anyway.)
But in the end it went as many had predicted. Out of the 20 entries only one with a serious story was submited. (And no offense but in the ending was weird in some way.)
Well, it is understandable because its not easy to write a story with a serious setting in only 3 or 4 sentences and also give it some touch so it would become good. And i think its even harder to get it animated in 48 hours.
Regardless it would be great if the next movie jam (or the movie jam avter that one) would be with some serios settig onyl or something like that.
Well, as always, sorry for some bad english. ^^
I really hope Illwillpress doesn't win anything in the best of January. He kinda cheated by stuffing so many flashes into the portal at once.
It's kinda strange that davebort still hasn't done any reaction yet.
Oh and about entrance fee/blacklist/ etc why still wasting time on it , let's establish the
and finally PROBLEM NO MORE
I must survive at every morning.
A Frog In The Store should have won this, just sayin'.
There are over 550 million firearms in the world. Thats one gun for every 12 people. The question is, how do we arm the other 11?
