Well I was wondering what happened to my story too.
Congrats to tha winnars!
1. Will the next game jam be similar? (How will it work?)
2. You still haven't decided on the winter flash off winners/prizes?
Seems like the redesign is coming next weekend with all the icon reminders we've been getting lately.
Any chance there might be a movie jam during weekdays? I really want to join one of these, but I work on the weekends.
Maybe if there are enough people in the same kind of situation.

I've pretty much decided not to do this movie jam again unless i know the people i am working with, otherwise things dont get done on time.

I'm only 2 for 3, Luis.

Those who are fussy don't get no pussy.
Well, this Movie Jam turned out better than I had expected! A little let-down that not all of the stories could get animated, though. (more stories than teams?) Perhaps a shorter story would have a better chance of getting chosen next time...
I'm telling you, a movie about am underdog magic elf who saves his land from an evil dragon would have been awesome but NNNNOOOOOO nobody wanted to animate that! Thanks for trying to help it get made anyway, Tom, that broadcast was funner then hell.
peach oatmeal lol
Congradulations to all who have participated in the first Movie Jam! I've seen a bunch of entries and in my eyes there's no losses here today. Each one contributed and made by each contestant proved that they have the mettle, Skill, Imagination and perseverance to make anything happen here on Newgrounds.com. As one of the members of the community I wish you all a great job and a thanks for your artistic contributions here. I hope you all have a splendid day!
ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS I SPENT 2 WEEKS STRAIGHT WORKING ON MY AIDS MOVIE. I EVEN GAVE MYSELF AIDS SO I COULD LEARN HOW A PERSON WITH AIDS ACTS. NOW I'M GOING TO DIE.

Well, there'll always be bugs on the first go around.

Second place for us? That is amazing! A huge thank you goes out to all of the Newgrounds members who enjoyed the animation and gave us good feedback so we can continue to improve and entertain you guys. A big hug goes out to all of my team members since I saw them working relentlessly throughout the entire weekend and finally, a congratulatory handshake to all the other teams who participated. It must have been hell for most of you guys too, so I just wanted to let you know that I respect that you had the balls (Or in our case, the ovaries) to go through with this pretty challenging undertaking.
From brainstorming how exactly we were going to adapt TropicalPenquin's story until reading on this thread that we got second place... This has definitely been a great ride. Thanks again! :)
Ah, kind of gutted we didn't win after all the effort we put in, but it was a really enjoyable experience and we're all proud of what we managed to produce in such a short time span.
I think in future I'll be working from a previously written script more often, it's a much more enjoyable experience than writing it yourself and sitting there panicking you did a bad job at it.
Kudos to the winners and well done to everyone who took part.
It's amazing what people can animate in 48 hours, with an actual sense of quality. So yes, Proper Raptors was phenomenal based on the time constraints.
