New Nintendo???

Is it just me, or is Nintendo, at one time the best videogame manufactuare of all time, going to shit?
Cuz, like, back way back wen, Nintendo was amazing mann. The NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, all amazing, and they did have good handhelds and games aswell. I cant complain about there games nowadays that much, cuz i still enjoy playing them. But like, their recent actions and competitive tactics against microsoft and sony.

Now i just dont understand why they are doing so much dumb shitt.
For example; the wii. Not a bad system. Fun for the most part, some good games, features, plays GC games. But comparing it to the 360 and PS3.... Its terrible. The only sole reason i got the wii was SSBB.
I mean like, why is the wii, in this gaming generation, not anywhere close the the perks of the other systems? They both have an amazing online system, with menues for it, and friend requests, open party chats, and all this stuff.

But not with nintendo man. You have to exchange friend codes to talk with one another and all that? No profiles? A mic for the whole room (which is good sometimes i guess)... And i kno wut your all gonna say, "it came out before, this stuff is outdated (not really but fuck)" But seriously, even G4 said nintendos profites are down 40 something percent. 40+%!! Thats a fucking lot!

Well lets see. 360/PS3 have constant online updates, directly to the system that affect just about everything (Which, by the way, to all you kids wanting the '720' or 'ps4', is why they arnt coming out, because its like a new system everytime it updates from the internet). The wiis system updates dont really do shit. Expecially for online gaming.

And theres a big problem here really.
Instead of using their money for a new wii version, or atleast so good, and i mean actually good, updates, they keep rehashing that damn DS.
I mean, shit. How many times do you have to release something for it to please you, nintendo?
I was fine with the DS, fun as hell.
But then they had the DS lite. What in the fuck is the difference?? Whatever.
Then the DSi. To be honost, i actually thought this was pretty kick ass.
But then the DSi/DS Big?.... Didnt they just make a 'lite' version? I mean, wut the fuck, is my half blind gram gonna play this shit? I mean, its supposed to be a handheld, not a fucking full blown sized game system.
And then the thing that really pisses me off is that new 3DS shit. What. The Fuck. Is that. Fucking 3d gaming so you dont have to be fuckin drugged up on acid for it to be popping out of the screen, huh?
So thats 5 DS's. Five. Damnit. Nintendo couldve used all that to update that hellhole of a system known ass the Wii.

Now i like the Wii, but overall, compared to the 360 and PS3, its garbage. Shitty wifi, half assed Wii/Mii games, and all that fun stuff.

Yes the Wii has terrible online capabilities
The DS to DS Lite I thought was quite a good transition , the lite being much more stylish, the dsi adds a web browser, camera, etc, dsi xl is... Bigger.
The 3DS is the next generation, think of it ad the DS2, it will have games available only on the 3DS but not previous models.

Well, the DSi also has exclusive games through its DSi Ware service. So, yeah, you can treat it as another iteration of DS with the added 3D bonus and new set of exclusive games. It does appear to be a perfect companion to the wii in my opinion.

Only for SSBB? Alright, you have horrible taste in games, so that's another factor. The Wii does it's own thing, unlike the other 2, which have recently picked up on motion controllers.

Profits is not spelled "profites" you tool. And Nintendo's focus isn't online, it's about being creative with the games they have. And their profits are down 40%? Are you sure that G4 wasn't referencing their actual content (ie. Not COPS) has gone down 40%?

Again, online isn't Nintendo's focus. New system everytime you update? Yeah, no. It's called a software update. It happens on your computer too, but you wouldn't go around saying "LOL MY COMPUTER IS BRAND NEW IT JUST UPDATED"

New Wii version? What's wrong with the current one? Also, the software on the Wii updates occasionally, it's to improve the system itself, not increase online for tards like you.

The DS Lite is much more comfortable, brighter screen, better battery, etc etc. I swear to God everyone I know who owns a DS owns a Lite model or better. It's standard now, and I'm pretty sure that Nintendo doesn't even produce the original DS cause it was barely worth making.

OK, I'll admit that most 3rd party games are just what you said, but many 1st party games are above high quality. Kirby's Epic Yarn? New Super Mario Bros Wii? Any WiiWare title? Oh wait, you only play SSBB, sorry, that's right.

I think they know what they are doing. I own a PS3 and a Wii, and I like both equally, each has it's ups an downs, but overall, the Wii is still at par with the PS3, IMO.

No. And I stopped reading there. Nintendo's not going to crap. The Wii is the most successful console of this generation, selling almost twice as many consoles as the 360 or PS3. You just don't like them because they're not "hardcore" enough for you. I've seen this situation before; this is no different. If anything Nintendo's doing better than ever. There's more Wii systems sold than any other Nintendo platform to date, sans the Game Boy/DS lineup.

Sure the system's specs aren't as great as the PS3 or 360. And neither was the DS to the PSP. But the DS outsold the PSP because of the DS's library. It's the games that are the most important aspect of a console, not the tech. Now you're going to attack me that half if not all of the Wii's games are gimmicky 3rd party titles that barely work. Yes, that is true. But beyond the crap lies probably the best exclusive games of this generation. Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Zelda, NiGHTS 2, Mario Kart, Goldeneye, and several WiiWare titles. And that "crap"... is casual games. I thought Nintendo was pretty clear that the Wii was geared more towards non-gamers and casuals who aren't interested in gaming. This is their bridge. It may not look like a nice bridge to you because you're "hardcore" I suppose. But the Wii isn't for you. Nintendo made that loud and clear, but you haven't heard it yet.

If the Wii's not "hardcore" for you, I suggest you get a 360, PS3, or a PC and let Nintendo do their own thing, as they've done since Nintendo was made.
