I'm just going to be staying home and watching the game this year. I'm probably going to order some food (most likely chinese, I've been in the mood for some lately) and drink a few beers.

Sleep is overrated. At least watch it for the commercials; that is, if you guys get the same Super Bowl commercials over there as shown here.

I just had to lol at that. But it will be interesting to see what he does in the offseason, my guess is that he probably won't go to bars with drunken college students again. Of course having 2 Super Bowl rings and possibly a 3rd covers up a lot of naughty behavior.

in other news, Michael Vick is still a dog killer after Wild Card loss.

Roger Goodell isn't going to be happy with that, lol.

I'd like the Steelers to win, but with that banged up O-line, I dunno. Pouncey is out, for one. Think about it: how much would it suck for your team to make the Super Bowl and you can't play? That happened to Bob Sanders of the Colts last year, too.

With the dynamics of both teams, I'm thinking this'll be a low-scoring, defensive game. But those are my favorites.

If I had to make a wild guess prediction, I'd say Packers 14-10.

Considering the BBC is broadcasting the Superbowl and the good public of this country have to pay a License Fee to get no adverts from the BBC, you can be assured that they won't show any. So there'll be A LOT of talking in the studio while you get ads.

We don't... in fact the main channel broadcasting the game is BBC1 which has no commercials at all. I'll be recording the game and watching it tomorrow as I can't stay up all night and then go to work in the morning. As such I'll be avoiding all media sources like the plague tomorrow. Fingers crossed the Packers can win it, I'm sick of Steelers victories, and the Packers were my pick to go all the way all season long.

For a Liverpool fan maybe.

I think most of us Chelsea fans were already preparing for that deserved loss when we saw the Liverpool formation and Torres starting. Don't get me wrong I love Torres and the eye candy was divine but we didn't NEED to start him. You don't mess with the good run you have with your team. We stormed Sunderland he should have stuck to that team and kept Torres on the bench, only bringing him on when and if we were winning. There was no pressure to start him. The coach just gave in to the hype and sadly this will set Torres back now I think.

While Arsenal gave away the biggest lead in Premiership history to end the game 4-4 and Man U lost to stop their unbeaten run on 29 games (and they only needed to win that game to break their own record), I somehow feel that Chelsea got the worst of the weekend results. All week has been about this game today and sadly we played it completely wrong and there will be a backlash in our camp from this. Take nothing away from Liverpool still. But yeah this defeat shall affect us worse than the points lost.

Just yeah, I'd feel better being an 'Up The Arse' or' Manure' supporter tonight after watching our game.

It's also on sky sports 1 (by far the best sport broadcaster) so they'll probably be showing the same ads as the states. Why anyone is going to watch this stop start, ads fest bullshit is beyond me. Oh and Chelsea smell of smellyness.

Yes Sky is the best sports broadcaster. I can't help but miss Andy Grays powdeful voice.

They won't show the same ads. Sky Sports will have British ads still to air, it's a money game and Sky wouldn't waste time to make money on such a high profile event in the middle of the evening/morning by just showing American ads. After all Sky must pay a stupid amount to be able to air the event, the deals they make with sponsers from there for ad time is up to them. Same with any channel.

I don't get why they watch it either really. Give me 45 minutes of football, a little break for a cup of tea and a toilet break then another 45 minutes thanks. Or just tennis, which is relentless besides one minute of break every game if that.

WHY DID HE START TORRES?

Still hot though. The girl in me remains happy, the football fan doesn't. Just hope this isn't another Shevchenko case where Roman is forcing the managers hand. Torres deserves better than that.

Oh yeah, that' right. I kind of wondered what happens with US live feeds of events when there is commercial slots. I think you're missing out. The commercials themselves are pretty good; they have to be considering how much they pay for a just a 30 seconds slot (almost $3 million).

Holy shit 3 million for a 30 second slot!? What the fuck, do they have to pay another 3 to get it shown again in a seperate break? Madness.

Every other game of the season though I'd much rather watch a few minutes of Mike Carlson breaking down and analysing the key plays than commercial after commercial- for a game that is so tactical and with plays that are so quick it always amazed me how little time they spent analysing the plays on American TV. For me the discussion in the studio makes the game considerably more interesting.

For the Superbowl I would love to get a few commercials though- the one year I watched it in the States they were fantastic. Most of the products and companies being advertised aren't really relevant here in the UK though, so there is no way Sky would shell out for them.

And BBC is clearly the better broadcaster in my opinion- they have the better commentators and you don't have to pay loads extra (beyond the licensing fee) every month for a couple of channels. Jake Humphrey and Mike Carlson will be better than anything Sky can put together, guaranteed.
