Would like some feed back please

so this is the story I've been working on for the last few weeks and I would like to know what you all think because in my eyes you all are the pro's at stories and other media. I havn't come up with a name it yet or have I finished it. it's in parts because the whole story can't be put in one post.

Part one:

The wolf pack circled the two travelers, bearing their blood drenched teeth as their stomachs growled. The man in the black cloak stood in front of the women who wore a lime Green Victorian dress and had pearl blue eyes with long blond hair with a red bow in her hair. She stood behind the man with her hands on his back. She was terrified as the wolves circled them. The man held his sword in front of him ready to strike at any wolf that dared attack them, it handle had red and black leather on it and the blade itself was as black as the night sky. The two slowly walked backwards as the wolves continued to circle with the pack leader in front of the man, its pitch black doll eyes fixed on the sword.

"Just give us the woman and we'll let you go, once we get the woman we'll take her back with us unharmed" the lead wolf said as the man chuckled at the wolves words and he answered the wolf, "Do you think I'd trust a devil like yourself, how stupid do you really think I am" the wolf snarled at the man's remark as the man and woman continued to slowly walk backwards, the wolf pack still circling around them.

"What are we going to do, they're all around us, and we don't have a chance against them" the woman said as the man looked over his shoulder and told her to keep moving slowly. For a few minutes the two continued slowly walking backwards although to the woman it felt like an eternity before they finally stopped in a clearing in the forest. The man looked at all the wolves around them then at the lead wolf before looking back at the woman

"Don't make any sudden movements, no matter what happens, do you understand me" the man said as the woman look at the man then nodded as she grasped his cloak tightly.

"Have you finally given up, did you finally see there is no hope but to give her to use. You are the only one who can fight and yet you stand in front of twenty wolves that are all around you. Give up human" the lead wolf said as the man had a somewhat cocky smile on his face as he lowered his sword.

"You seem to be cocky for a wolf, you think your pathetic puppy dogs will scare me away from protecting her, you wolves really are pathetic creatures. You need twenty wolves to take down one knight, you wolves are better suited on to slices of warm bread then hunting prey" the man said as the lead wolf growled at the man and howled into the air as his doll like eyes showed the rage inside of him.

"I was going to let you leave here with your life but now I'm considering ripping you limb from limb to satisfy my hunger, you are the cocky bastard in this equation my friend. You humans think because your numbers exceed other creatures that you can do whatever you want, but you are wrong and today I'll make an example of you" the lead wolf said as it howled, signaling the wolves to attack. One of the wolves ran from its position towards the woman behind the man, it was a few inches away when a green flash ran through the wolves right side and came out the left. When it fell to the ground the vine that had pierced into the wolf's body wrapped around the creatures body and dragged it towards one of the trees as the other tress around them shot vines at the wolves. The wolves snarled and whined as the vines attacked piercing into some while wrapped around others back legs and dragging them towards the tree. The wolves disappeared into the tops of the trees as the head wolf looked around at the chaos, then looked at the man and said, "You tricked us, damn you human, damn you straight to hell" the lead wolf said as it retreated to the safety of the forest. The woman looked around at what the trees had done as the ones who didn't grab a wolf started to extend their vines.

"Great out of the frying pan and into the fire, we need to head east towards the road" the man said as the woman looked at him and said, "But the trees, they'll eat us if we head that way. This forest has many creatures that can kill men, but the biggest threats are the Spider Trees"

"I know this, but do you really think I'd come here without preparing any type of backup plan. Get behind me and do what I say" the man said as the woman nodded and got behind the man who raised his sword from his side and placed his hand flat on the sword and started chanting, "Watashi ni anata no tsuyo-sa o ataeru ni densetsu no dai d%u014Dbutsu wa, watashi o yobidashimasu. R%u016Bnmasut%u0101 toshite, anata wa watashi ga anata ni yobidasu toki ni watashi no tokoro ni kite iru. Kakikomi, watashi ni anata no chikara o! Fenikkusu no honoo" Red symbols formed on the man's sword as Flames formed around the sword, the man suddenly slammed his sword into the ground as a tunnel of flames shot in front of the man burning the trees in front of them.

"Run, but don't touch the flames or you'll turn to ash!" the man said as the woman ran into the tunnel of flames careful not to touch the walls of the tunnel, right behind her the man ran at a slower pace, but at every section of the tunnel it disappeared as though when the man ran into the tunnel it started to disappear. The woman reached the end of the tunnel of flames and after a few seconds the man reached the end as the tunnel of flames disappeared completely. The woman hunched over to catch her breath as the man sheathed his sword.

"I could have never guessed father had a knight who could use magic" the woman said as she stood up straight. The two were standing on the side of a dirt road as the man spoke, "That was not simple magic. It's called rune, it's a type of power that taps into the powers of the sacred beasts of this world" the woman was about to say something when she noticed a horse drawn carriage approaching them. She stood on the edge of the dirt road and waved her arms to signal the man on top to stop. The man on top the carriage pulled the rains as the carriage started to slow down and come to a stop.

"Well, what are you two doing out here at such an hour. Most people would be still in their beds sleeping" the man said as the door to the carriage opened and an woman with a Red and black Victorian dress, bright red hair and brown eyes walked out of the carriage to see what was going on. She took one look at the two and took out a small paper green fan and opened it to cover her mouth and walked over to the two.

"My, my and what do we have here Blake. I do say we have some travelers that have lost their way, would you two like to take some pressure off your feet and ride with me to the next village" the woman said as the man looked at the woman he was with and said, "We would like that very much miss"

"Victoria, Victoria Jackson. And if I may ask before we are on our way what might both your names be" Victoria said as the woman walked up and bowed as she said, "My name is Cassie Diamond and the man I'm with, his name is Shane Dynamite. We have come from the nation of Chrono" Victoria smiled behind her fan as she climbed into the carriage, Cassie climbed in a few second later then Shane followed. The carriage started up again as Cassie and Shane sat together across from Victoria who had folded her paper fan and placed it on her lap.

"Mr. Dynamite, you don't have to worry about a thing, you can take your hood off. Plus it's rude to wear such things in front of a lady" Victoria said. Shane said nothing as he removed his cloaks hood to expose his short brown hair and his black eyes. He didn't seem too interested in conversation as he leaned against the side of the carriage and looked out the window.

Part two:

"If I may ask, Miss Diamond. What were you and Mr. Dynamite doing before we found you" Victoria asked as Cassie answered, "We're on a pilgrimage to the Forest of Crystal to see the elves that live there"

"So, are you going there to get married since your families don't want you two to marry or is there something higher that's driving you two" Victoria ask but before Cassie could answer Shane quickly said, "You're not even close on your assumption miss Victoria, we are heading to the forest of Crystal to make a treaty with the elves so the nation of Chrono can have an actual chance at winning the pending war"

"Yes, that's all we are doing. I'm the princess of Chrono and my father wanted to have a treaty with the elves to help us win a war. We left the castle with a small army of fifty but during our travels in the Forest of Death we are the only two that got out alive" Cassie said as Victoria looked at Cassie then at Shane before she said, "So, the enemy knew you were going to see the elves and placed traps in the forest to slow you down" Shane laughed at what Victoria said before he answered.

"Not even close, all they had to do was promise the wolves of the forest free food to eat and let the damn dogs of the forest deal with us, but because of their greed and hunger they couldn't see the trap I made of my own. I had them follow us to the Spider Trees and let the trees feed on the wolves flesh" Shane said. While the carriage went down the dirt road, up in the mountains the lead wolf walked slowly into a cave as Dwarfs and Orcos watched every step the wolf took. He walked up to a Dwarf that stat on a thrown that was too big for him who had long red beard that was mangled with food and beads, on his head was a helmet with horns but the right horn was broken. The wolf bowed down to the dwarf.

"Have you come bearing good news, did you rip the princess limb from limb. Did she cry and beg for the pain to stop, did you kill her slowly and make her wish for death" the Dwarf said as the wolf looked up at him. The wolf's doll eyes for the first time in its life showed fear as it spoke, "I apologize Ozark; the princess's guard was to cunning for us. He led us to the Spider Trees where I lost all my wolves" Ozark looked at the wolf and climbed down the throne and walked over to the wolf, even though the wolf and Dwarf where similar in size. The shear raw power the Dwarf had could easily snap the wolf in two.

"Come, walk with me my friend" Ozark said, his voice showed no indication of anger or frustration that the wolf didn't achieve its goal.

"You must not put yourself down like that my friend; you tried your best to get the princess. The nation of Chrono knew that we might hire the wolves of the Forest of Death to kill the Princess and that's why I feel you failed, it was not your fault the humans thought ahead. We just need to think a few steps ahead of the humans" Ozark said. The two walked for what seemed like miles until they came to a large cavern that was filled with mist that covered the bottom (If it really had one), the wolf jumped in front of Ozark a bowed.

"Thank you Ozark for being so understanding, this failure will never happen again" the wolf said as Ozark stroked his beard and looked at the wolf and said, "No, it will never happen again" suddenly a snake tongue came from the mist and wrapped around the wolf's body and drabbed him from the ledge to the mist below.

"OOOOOOOOZZZAAAAAARRRRRRRRKKKKKKKKK" a woman's voice yelled inside the large cavern which shook the walls. Ozark knelt on one knee as he said, "Lady Hydra, I am terribly sorry for how that pathetic wolf handled the job I gave him. I will stop the princess from getting to the Elves"

"You besssst do what I asssk of you or I'll find another who can Replasssse you. Do not come back here without the prinsssesssss" the woman's voice said as Ozark nodded and walked out of the large room.

"Ssssoon, very sssoon I'll be able to feasssst on the flessssh of the preinssesss" the woman's voice said as ten golden glowing eyes appeared in mist below.

Ozark walked back towards his Throne and climbed back onto it as he sighed in frustration as he tried to come up with a plan to please Lady Hydra. He stroked his beard and pondered on the thought.

The Carriage entered the village as it stopped in front of a large inn, the side door opened and Victoria walked out of the carriage. Cassie and Shane followed as the two looked around the village. Shane grabbed Cassie's arm and pulled her aside.

"Since where here we're going to need to get you another pair of clothes, the enemy knows what you're warring and will put out wanted posters for. Weather they ask for you dead or alive is up to them but we need to change your appearance" Shane said. Cassie removed her hand from his grasp as she rubbed her wrist and said, "Why did you pull me aside to tell me this, I'm sure Victoria wouldn't mind helping if we ask her. She seems nice enough, after all she did give us a ride to this village" Shane just sighed and shook his head.

"You're too trusting princess, how can we be sure that she's not with the enemy. It was luck that she found us, but I see it as something else. She could have watched us while we were in the forest and after we got out she could have planted herself there to seem innocent" Shane said.

"You do know that talking about a lady behind her back is rude" Victoria said as she stood behind Shane with her green paper fan covering her mouth. Shane turned around and sighed. Cassie looked at Shane, then at Victoria and said; "Since you know what we are talking about, would you help us find suitable clothing to wear on our travels" Victoria smiled behind her fan as she nodded.

"While you two shop, I'm going to get us rooms in the inn. Try not to stay out too late, this village might look peaceful now but when night falls. Well let's just say every Village has its secrets and they usually come out at night" Shane said. Victoria and Cassie went into the shopping area of the village while Shane walked into the inn; it was an old fashion inn with animal fur on the walls and a bar on the first floor. He walked over to the bartender who was cleaning out a glass with a dirty rag. He asked the bartender for a room with two beds, the bartender nodded and took out a thick book and flipped through the pages until he got to a page that had only three names on it.

"Just sign your name below the third name and tell me how long you'll be staying here" the bartender said as Shane took the quill pen that sat between the pages of the book and dipped it in the ink. He sighed his name, but made sure his signature was hard to read. He placed the pen on the table before he looked up at the bartender and said, "We'll stay here for the night and we'll be on our way after that" the bartender nodded

Part Three:

"A two bed room is three gold coins for five nights, but since you're only staying one night I'll only ask for one gold coin from you" the bartender said as Shane reached into his pocket and took out a gold coin and handed it to the bartender who took the coin then gave him the key to his room and said, "your room in number five" Shane nodded as he took the key and walked up stairs to the room. He unlocked the door and walked into the room, it was not a big room but not a small room either. It had enough room for two people to walk around, get dressed and even have meals at the round table in the corner. The beds were cloth that was filled with feathers of birds and the pillows where filled with the same. The bed frame looked to be made from oak like everything else in the room. He walked over to the desk near the window and started to unbutton his cloak.

"Look at all this stuff" Cassie said as she stood in front of a stand that sold silk clothing. She picked up a red dress that had white cloth inside; the top of the dress had buttons going down the middle and a hood on the back. Victoria examined the dress and said, "I think that would look smashing on you my dear" Cassie's face lit up with joy as she turned to the merchant and asked how much the dress was.

"For something like this dress, I would normally ask for thirty gold coins but for you little lady. I'll only ask for ten since you remind me of my little daughter back home" the Merchant said as Cassie reached into her pocket and took out ten gold coins and handed it to the merchant who bid them good day as the two headed back to the inn. The two walked into the inn and headed over to the Bartender to ask where their room was, but the bartender had no idea what they were talking about until Cassie described Shane to him. He nodded and told them where their room was; the two thanked him and headed upstairs to their room. Cassie grasped the door knob and pushed the door but it wouldn't budge. She pounded on the door until Shane unlocked the door and opened it. He had taken off his cloak and now was wearing black pants and a sleeveless shirt, both his arms looked to have black chains scorn onto his skin.

"It's about damn time, I was beginning to worry that something had happened" Shane said as Victoria smiled as she walked in to the room and sit down on one of the beds.

"I didn't know you cared so much" She taunted. Shane just sighed as he walked over to the small desk and sat down on the chair that was next to it. Cassie laid the dress on the bed and sat down on the comfortable bed and asked, "So why just one room Shane, aren't you going to have a room for yourself"

"I have to stand guard outside so that nothing happens in the night; I've already got the window covered so no one will be climbing through the window even if they are to find a ladder, but right now we have more important issues to deal with. The gold I have is running thin; we'll only have it for another few days before we completely run out" Shane said. Victoria smiled as she flipped her fan shut and placed it in her dress pocket and said, "I know how you can get more gold coins. When we entered the bar downstairs I noticed some gentlemen playing a card game that involves gold. All you have to do is win a few rounds and your gold problems will be no more"

"Gamble, but it's illegal. If he is found out, he surely will be imprisoned for his crime" Cassie said as Victoria laughed at her comment and said, "You forget, you two are no longer in Chrono Territory. In this land, gambling is a way of life. Plus this village has many gambling spots due to its history. This village was once a gold town; it had mines that were filled to the brim with gold. For a few years the town's people lived like kings, but no one told them that if you mine the gold everyday you'll lose what you've gained over time. In time, that's what happened to this town. The gold became less and less until the mines could no longer produce gold and the town went broke" Shane got up from his chair and walked over to the door.

"You're seriously not going down stairs to try your luck with them? What happens if you lose all gold we have, then we're screwed. We'll never get to the forest of Crystal" Cassie said, but Shane just turned around and told her to trust him because he had a plan. After Shane left Victoria got up and said, "Now I'm intrigued to see how all this plays out" she acted as though all this was a theater performance and wanted to see the next scene. She quickly followed as Cassie just sighed and closed the door to get changed. Shane walked down stairs to find the "Gentlemen" Victoria had talked about where not what he pictured, he saw men who looked like warriors. Instead sitting at and around the table where pirates with clothes that where ill-fitting with multi-colored woolen fabric woven of mixed threads that looked to be stolen. He just sighed as he walked over to the table, the caption who had multi-colored woolen fabric woven of mixed threads like the rest of his crew but his threads looked more like what a king might wear. His hat was crooked to the side with a red feather in it, his right eye was covered with an eye patch and he could see that his left hand was replaced by a hook. He walked over to the group and was instantly accepted.

"Eye, looks like we have an interest in what we be playing. Are you in me boy or are you going to run with your tail between your legs" the pirate caption said as Shane sat down across from the caption and placed the small brown sack of coins on the table and said, "What is the game and how is it played" the caption laughed as he slammed his right hand on the table.

"I like you kid, you have guts. You have the bravery of a man who has gone to the end of the world and seen things that would make a normal man mess up his trousers" the pirate caption said as he handed Shane five cards, but they where face down on the table as he said, "you have five cards, four are skull and cross bones. You don't want those me boy, you want the face cards. The one who get's that face card wins the whole pot. So, how much are you going to bet"

"Fifty gold coins" Shane said as he placed the bag in the middle of the table. The pirates placed fifty gold coins next to Shane's bag until there was a total of two hundred gold coins in the middle of the table.

"Let's began, since our friend is new to this game we will go fist then you" the caption said as another pirate flipped his card over to reveal a skull and cross bone. While they were flipping their cards Shane had his eyes on his cards as he chanted something under his breath, "Watashi wa dare obujekuto o kaishite miru koto ga dekiru sorera no saito o atae, watashi wa ningen de wa mi rarenai ka mite mimashou. G%u014Dsuto-me" he suddenly saw what all the cards where even though they where face down. The second pirate had flipped his card over to also reveal a skull and cross bone, it was only Shane and the caption.

"May I ask you something Caption, what would happen if both you and I flipped over a skull and cross bone?" Shane asked as the caption said, "Well me boy, if me and you where to flip over the same card. The game would start over again and the pot would double" Shane was intrigued by this, on the one had he could win two hundred gold coins or her could continue to lose on purpose until the post got bigger and bigger until it could be enough to last him and Cassie the way to the forest and back home. The caption flipped over a skull and cross bone as he slunked back into his chair.

Part Four:

"it's all up to you me boy, win the pot or have this game go on until one of us loses because if we all got skull and cross bones or all got face cards. It will be the same out come over and over again" the caption said as Shane looked at all his cards. A three of hearts, he could win or double his earnings. In the end greed took over as he flipped over a skull and cross bones. The pirates at the table shook their heads as the pot was doubled and the game began again, it was like they had bad luck on their side because every round they turned a skull and crossbones. Shane could have one the pot multiple times but he wanted to get as much gold as he possible could. Within three hours the pot had gone up to three hundred thousand gold coins and since the pirates had finally placed their last bit of gold on the table Shane knew it was time to end the game. After the two pirates and the caption flipped over skull and crossbones Shane could still see the face down cards as though they where face up. He flipped over the three of hearts as all the pirates gasped in disbelief.

"I'd say you win me boy, but I also say you cheated. No one could get skull and crossbones for so long then all of a sudden get a face card to win the pot" the caption said, Cassie had come down from the second floor a few hours ago after changing into the dress she bought at the stand in the village. Victoria flipped her fan opened and said, "Why don't we do this, one more game of cards between the caption and Shane. If the Caption should win, not only will he win back the pot but he'll also clam Cassie as well"

"Hay, I'm not some prize you can win on a card game nor am I an object" Cassie said, she wanted to state who she was but knew it would make things worse than they already were. She remembered Shane telling her to use her title casually as to not attract unwanted trouble. The caption stocked his beard and said, "We'll that sounds about right, the boys are getting tired of the barrel and picking slivers off their jimmies but what happens if the boy should win" Victoria smiled behind her fan as she answered his question, "if Shane should win, the you and your crew are to accompany him on his travels with this girl until they get home safely or until they die" Shane stared at Victoria as she stated the terms. In his mind he could see what she was doing, she was making sure that the two had safe passage to the forest of Crystal and back home, but he was also curious to why she was helping them. Victoria took the cards and shuffled them, then placed five cards face down in the middle of the table.

"You each pick one card, the one who picks the face card wins, chose wisely" she said as the caption took the middle card and pilled it towards him, Shane knew he could win because of his rune eyes but as he tried to see what the cards where he couldn't see them. He was confused as to how his rune eyes couldn't see the cards. Victoria walked over to Shane and whispered softly, "I've placed a spell on the cards so your rune eyes can't see what they are. Let's see how your luck is without your rune powers" Shane held back his temptation to give her a reply. He just stared at the cards then took a chance and took the card at the far right.

"Now boys, flip your cards at the count of three. One, two" Victoria said as she reached three and both Shane and the caption flipped their cards over and Victoria let out a small chuckle as she looked at the pirate caption.

Part Five:

"It looks as though you'll be a bit busy with these two" Victoria said as the caption fell back into his chair and sighed. All he could do was stare at the skull and cross bones he had flipped over. Shane too, fell back into his chair as he let out a breath of relief.

"I, I get it lass. So boy, where are we off to" the caption asked Shane. Cassie was still a bit mad at how Victoria tried to use her as a prize. She adjusted herself in the chair and said, "We're heading to the Forest of Crystal but not till tomorrow. After that we'll head back to the castle and you can be on your way" Shane seemed to be thinking after Cassie told the caption the next's day's plans.

"Because you are taking us, I'll give you half the gold back I won as payment for taking us the rest of the way and the way back. I must say thought I would have loved to have won the first time but when gold is in front of me my greed takes over and I have to win it all" Shane said. The caption looked at Shane and started to laugh.

"Me boy, you have a little pirate inside of you. I like that. Names Alex Horror, but most of the crew calls me Caption Horror" Alex said as he extended his hand over the table. Shane shook Alex's hand and said, "Shane Dynamite, the girl with me is Cassie Diamond"

"What about little old me, have you forgotten about me already" Victoria asked as she placed her hand on Shane's Shoulders. There are times when I wish I could Shane thought as he introduced Victoria to Alex. Shane and Alex discussed their leaving arrangements before parting. Cassie, Victoria, and Shane walked up to the room. Shane took out his sword before he sat down outside the room and placed his sword on his right shoulder and bided the two good night. As Cassie and Victoria entered the room the two placed their pajamas on and as soon as Cassie hit the bed she instantly fell asleep, but woke up a few hours later. She sat up and looked over at the other bed to see Victoria sprawled out on the bed mouth wide open snoring. She got up and walked over to the door and cracked it opened to peek outside. She saw Shane still sitting in the same position they had left him in, his head was against his sword's handle. Then next morning Cassie and Shane went aboard the pirate ship that sat in the port.

"This is a very good looking ship for a pirate ship caption, did you steal it or did you make sure you bought the best ship possible" Victoria said as she walked onto the deck of the ship. Shane looked at Victoria in confusion before speaking, "What are you doing here Victoria, shouldn't you be on your way back home" Victoria laughed as she unfolded her fan and held it in front of her mouth.

"The only thing waiting for me back home is a marriage my family thinks will help them get out of debt, but I have no desire to marry that stuck up bastard. All he thinks about is himself, hell he looks at himself in the mirror for hours" Victoria said. The crew scrabbled to get the sails ready and the ship to set sail, the caption walked over to a large wooden wheel and said, "you land lovers might want to hang on to your britches because we're about to sail into the blue" the ship suddenly rocked back and forth as it started to rise out of the water and flout in mid air. It continued to climb until it was over the tops of the trees.

"This ship flies" Shane yelled in surprise as he looked out over the wooden rail to see the ground getting smaller and smaller. The caption laughed at Shane's outburst as he spun the wheel to the east. The wind picked up and the floating ship started to move.

"Onward to the Forest of Crystal" the caption yelled as the ship continued to pick up speed. Cassie stood on the right side of the ship as the wind flew through her hair. She was amazed at how the ship could fly, she tried to touch the clouds next to her but they disperse at her touch.

"May I ask how this ship is able to soar over the land without any wings or even magic" Victoria asked as the caption let one his crew members take the wheel and walked down to the deck of the ship and took a pipe from his pocket and placed the tobacco inside it and lit it. He let a few puffs out before answering, "I help out this elfish looking kid escape from another pirate, in turn his pixie put her dust all around our ship and it started to fly"

"Interesting" Victoria said as she looked around at the crew. They were not interested in how Shane won a free ride on their ship; they were more interested in Victoria and Cassie. Alex noticed their stairs and yelled at them to get back to their possessions. He sighed and looked at the three and said, "Sorry for their stairs lasses, they haven't seen a woman since we landed in port Rockwell" Shane just sighed at the name of the port.

"Me boy, you know about that port" Alex asked as his pipe puffed out more smoke. Shane nodded and said, "Sadly yes, there's someone I know there. You could call them a child hood friend" the ship continued to soar over the trees of the forest. Cassie looked over the railing at the forest as birds flew out of the trees and flew next to the ship. Alex walked over to the railing and smiled as he watched the birds fly near the ship.

"The birds are like dolphins, they like to fly next to the ship like dolphins swim next to a ship. The crew sometimes captures a few of them to cook when our food runs low" Alex said. Cassie looked up at the caption. She couldn't comprehend the thought of eating such lovely creatures.

"Caption Horror, at the rate this ship is going we should make it to the Forest of Crystal in a day and a half" Shane said as the caption turn his attention to Shane and just chuckled under his breath and said, "Me boy, you amaze me to no end.
