Can you please tell me ways on which i can get better memory and concentrate more on things.. tell me what i need to do.. cuz i wanna concentrate and get some work done and i was wondering what coffee can does in the brain.. and also could you tell me what you think might be wrong with me if i aint retaining stuff in my head properly... I think the trick is to keep ur mind stimulated but can you suggest ways to me thanks.
Caffeine can help boost your memory for a very short period. My biology teacher advises we have a cup before each exam. Coincidentally, cocaine will do the job much better.
I know if you take a spoonful of Honey and Pepper it helps your memory. Maybe try that. I never heard of Coffee helping your memory.
I don't think caffeine would help you concentrate perse. Maybe for a while, but if you drink it a lot it might do more harm than good.
I believe it is possible to train your brain in some areas, so I would suggest you simply try to stimulate your brain by playing memory games and games that require a lot of concentration. After a while it might start to have a significant effect, and I'm sure it's better than becoming a coffee addict.

In a way, yes, in a way, no.
The reason why yes:
It raises heart rate, and is a stimulant. Blood pumps oxygen to the brain faster. It also makes you feel awake and focused.
The why no:
It dehydrates you, you crash after a short period and need more caffeine to reboot. It is not a replacement for lack of sleep. If you have ADHD, caffeine will only make you more hyper and less willing to focus on one particular task.
Lol@cocaine comment. Cocaine actually speeds up and stimulates brain activity, and speeds up the time it takes for synopsis to fire. The only drawback is it's illegal and kills heart tissue on contact. You also have no clue what's in that shit. Could be cut with baking soda, soap, pills, etc.

Yeah, this DS game actually helps improve your brain. Maybe play this everyday.
Funny, in my day video games rotted your brain.

Hey now, we don't want to turn this man to a memory-addict.

I nearly spit my drink out. You sir, are hilarious.
I can't remember.
dur hur hur hur hur...
Is this a memory issue, or a concentration issue?
If it's a memory issue, then write whatever it is down right away. If it's a concentration issue, then all you need to do is pour every ounce of your senses into whatever you can't concentrate on. Let's say it's schoolwork; with practice, you can tune out noise, music or tv.
It just takes a little willpower. Coffee can help you focus in the morning, but I don't think it will work otherwise.
Did someone say my name, boss?
I tried to help it, but it was to late.
One thing you could try is meditation. It is beneficial for both memory and concentration. Basically, you find a nice quiet and comfortable place to sit, and close your eyes and try to either concentrate on one thing for 10-20 min. straight, without getting distracted, or you try to prevent a single thought from ever entering your mind. The latter is more difficult, but extremely beneficial. Another thing that helps meditation is binaural beat therapy.
Can we have some more answers please..
Caffeine is found to increase neuron activity in the frontal lobe, and other areas that control memory and your attention span. They also say that caffeine drinkers are less likely to get diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzeimer's.
Although there are some outstanding health benefits, naturally there are some negatives. And like nicotine (which also has health benefits, surprisingly); the health risks outweigh the side effects that can actually be good for you.
After reading that, I don't think concentration is your biggest problem.
