I just heard an awesome song. A cannibal corpse instrumental of the new album. Infinite misery. It ruled. Ruled so hard it made me strike a cheesy pose.

Dream Theater is progressive metal.
Speaking of prog metal, I've been listening to Ihsahn's solo album a lot as of late.

I would, though I've been only able to download a few songs on limewire, Funeral and Nobodys here are awesome songs. Others don't have enough sources to download.

Every once in a while.. you hear a fresh new sound. Something that brings orgasmic levels of pleasure to the eardrum and the mind.. and makes you feel rejuvenated musically and spiritually. A cleanse of the soul.

If not... join us fucker!
And ya, some of us know BTA... very good band :).
Sure, i'll join. most of the buddies of mine that got me into metal (well, "Good metal") have moved away so i've been looking for the metally inclined to chat with. Could anyone around here point me towards some good pirate/drinking metal. i'm a big fan of korpiklanni and Battleheart to a lesser extent.

I heard a Behold The Arctopus song once. It sounds like they're technical for the sake of technicality. At least technical bands like Necrophagist have some sort of melody. BTA has none. It sounds like a bunch of random crap. I know it isn't and that it is very complicated and advanced, but that doesn't prevent it from sounding like robotic crap.

yes, thats pretty much what i thought when i first heard them too. but as i listened more it became less of robotic crap, and i could pick up on the structure of there music and even some feeling beeing transmitted through there technicality. i really like the song sensory amusia and of course alcoholicost. Helloween!

I might listen to a few songs from that album sometime. Since SYL are no more for now, I really should check out some of his solo stuff.

WHAHAHAHA, you've got to be kidding me! Slipknot and Rob Zombie? Hilarious!
Do you seriously think you can get in with those core bands? Don't think so buddy. List at least 10 REAL METAL BANDS before one of the horsemen can discuss about your acceptance.
Sorry for the two-in-a-row.

Just aided emergency units across the street.
There's a tenniscourt across, and a 61-year old geezer had a hartattack. So my dad and I ran outside to assist, we only helped keeping kids on a distance, but hey, someone's gotta do it.
Sadly enough, the man died. After an hour of reanimation and artificial breathing, they got out the white blanket, and you all know what that means.
Still a little bit shocked right now, but that's natural I think.
I'd like to take the opportunity to respect and honor this guy who fought for his live and had to give up, also some attention to the hardworking police- , ambulance- and traumahelicopterunits.
Sadly, his wife was there also, she saw everything happen. That's very sad.
no bad words for polica anymore, at least not from The Netherlands.
