I don't have to say I'm funny. I'm just saying that I am ;).
And besides, you think 4chan is funny.... your taste in comedy is clearly bad.

My dad was a redneck, and was pretty blue collar so I understand what it means, but that movie still sucked shit for me. It made me chuckle maybe twice, and it was during Ron White's bit. He still sucks, but compared to Larry, Engvall, and Foxworthy he's comedic genius.
i'm not redneck by any means. my job requires that i have a blue collar (i'm a welder) but i still find them funny but just not after the 48,000 time it has been shown. But then i think thats with everything (except maybe sex. that never seems to get old).
Anyway, i got bored and did this in paint:

Official Rules of Funny (As Stated By Me)
Rule 1- You are either funny or you're not.
Rule 2- You cannot learn funny.
Rule 3- Seriously, don't even try to learn to be funny.
Rule 4- Old jokes, stay old.
Rule 5- Only try to make old jokes funny if you are an accomplished comedian (Meaning no one)
Rule 6- Pick your type of humo(u)r early on. You are either: sarcastic, obnoxious, obviously funny, or subtley funny.
Rule 7- No matter how much weed your audience smokes, if you're a horrendous comedian, they won't laugh.
Rule 8- There are no rules 9-34
Rule 35- You are not funny if you say you are.
Here I am, bored with everything.

Yup.
4chan is only funny to me because it's the place where rules of common good are ignored. It's what happens when shit brings out the worst in people.

Over the weekend, I started listening to an assload of bands. I think Grand Magus, Dark Moor, and Vanden Plas are my favorite recent discoveries. There's also Royal Hunt, Black Majesty, Zandelle, Pagan's Mind, and Age of Nemesis. I also heard one song by Falconer, which I liked.
If you guys haven't heard Dark Moor's adaptation of Vivaldi's Winter, you fucking must. It's great.

Louis CK
Eddie Murphy
George Carlin
Bill Cosby
the guys of Derrick Comedy (if that counts)
I'd include Cheech and Chong, but Tommy Chong is Canadian. And I didn't include Cheech Marin on his own since I'm not very familiar with his standup and I haven't seen him in a comedy without Tommy Chong.

as do I. I also have a Benny Hill tape. I loved Mr. Bean and wish to get the DVD collection sometime. I wish the Hollow Men were on DVD. I plan on checking out Black Adder and Doctor Who. I have a friend who is obsessed with Doctor Who. And I love Little Britain.
No, I have not seen the apparently infamous second season.
I'm probably forgetting something.

I'm freaking tired of Ron White's routine about how he got thrown out of a bar. If I saw him, I'd be tempted to say "way to kill a joke, you dick." I still find his other jokes pretty funny, though.
Bill Engvall used to be my favorite of the group (never my fav comedian, though, and neither were the other 3), but I'm not sure whether I prefer him or Jeff Foxworthy now.

HI MY NAME IS GEORGE ZIMMER, FOUNDER AND CEO OF THE MEN'S WEARHOUSE. I WAS ON THE WAY HOME FROM MY DAILY SHLONG SHINING WHEN I HAPPENED TO NOTICE YOUR MOM STANDING NEXT TO A GUY WITH A SMALL DICK. USING MY SEARING SENTIENT COMMITTMENT TO SOCIAL SAVORY, I PLUGGED HER WITH MY MAMMOTH MAN MEAT. SHE DIDN'T KNOW THE WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE FEELING AS MY PROLONGED POLE PLOWED THROUGH HER PETITE PLUGHOLE. I THEN CAME ALL OVER HER BREASTS AND FACE, SHOWERING HER WITH MY SALACIOUS SEMEN, AND HAD HER BEGGING FOR MORE. I GUARANTEE IT.

Nope. It's about the Dao. You see, the only two rules of the dao are as follows:
If you try to deviate from the dao, you will deviate from the dao.
If you try to follow the dao, you will deviate from the dao.
/b/ isn't about being conventional or unconventional; it's about abandoning the conventions, period. We don't try to deviate from the conventions, we just dont' care, and it never comes into our thought. The interesting part about it is that it will always produce a net negative.

I've been watching Metal Hell slide down a pretty slippery slope over the past weeks.
Where is the discussion of metal? It's turned into a second rate 4chan.
Also, Ghoul...have you heard of rule #1, or haven't you been there long enough? You are the cancer that is killing /b/.

i got Murder Metal by Macabre in the mail today, and after wiping my seed from the cover, i decided to listen to it. the entire album is amazing, it doesn't get boring, not even for a second.
the only problem with the album is in the "we would like to thank section" included in the list is Cradle of Filth, i felt betrayed, well now i'm gonna buy Gloom and wait for that in the mail

That's a shitty forced meme that was stolen from Fight Club. And "the cancer that is killing /b/" is also a shitty forced meme by users who wish they were there in /b/'s golden days.
