I do not refer to Dream Theater as messiahs.

Atheist fucking rules.

At 3:50am today Deicide were on Rage with a video for their song 'Desecration'. I cried with happiness.

Daath were also on Rage.

.... Followed by Slipknot.

I know Dream Theater isn't for everyone and if you at least respect their talent, then that's fair enough to me.

Yep. And Petrucci will be 40 as well in July.

I share the same birthday as Petrucci and that makes Nev jealous. :D

You dont have to be drummer savy to know that Portnoy is the king.

But i do agree that prog metal can be pretentious, but that doesnt matter to me cos i fucking love it.

oh, well....sorry?

Also, I made a mistake. I thought Wolf's Return was the name of the song. I've now heard 3 songs from the album. Nine, Repay in Kind, and Kingslayer.

kickass band.

Meh, I'll just listen to the album myself and give it my own verdict. I'll most likely find it a lot better than they did. However, before I get United Abominations, I shall be getting Hidden Treasures a week on Monday. :D

Fine enough. Woke up late, went for a jog, ordered some books (girly romance and manly adventure ftw), went to see Hot Fuzz (amazing film) and now I'm kicking back watching The Silence of The Lambs (this would probably be my 25th viewing).

You?

I finally took out my bike from my rather dusty closet, gave it a ride to Central Park, rode around for about ten miles, came back to my apartment. Saw a local slam death band play, wiggercore shit, whatever. Also, I'm preparing to buy tickets for the Brooklyn Metalfest in June.

Terrible. I'm completely burned out because I've been driving my family all around Putnam, Dutchess, Columbia and Ulster County for about 8 hours today with few breaks. On top of that, I have a headache and a mild stomach ache, and I'm also all out of money.
