me too. dunno what it is about it, i just prefer it over any other metal. one thing i dont like is bands like bongzilla constantly going on about weed and nothing else, i suppose you cant really make the lyrics out anyway tho

I strongly reccomend Tyr. Agalloch and Borknagar are also very good.

I like them too. I listen to them fairly often, actually, though I don't have any of their CDs. All I have is the Final Product from This Godless Endeavor on one CD with songs from other bands.

Black metal is good (Ghoul has hooked me up with some good bands), but the production can ruin some songs (some are too quiet, others are too loud).

I stick with the first and second wave of black metal, mostly (Emperor, Immortal, Venom, Bathory even though viking metal, whatever)

I do like some other bands like Naglfar.

To be honest, I'm slowly deleting a lot of Black and Death temporarily so that I find new bands in replacement that aren't so fucking redundant.

Don't get me wrong, I love Death and Black metal, but if a band sounds the same and just screams with eye make-up on, it can get really old.
