yeah i no... i like rock but i like to understand wat they r saying on the songs , on heavy metal stuff like mudvayne u cant even understand wat their saying, so yeah i am not a big heavy metal fan, disturbed, papa roach, avenegd sevenfold, ect are the stuff i am into so i guess i dont belong here cuz the stuff i like isnt heavy enough, but what is the point of listening to music if u dont even no what their saying and it doesnt even sound good?

1) You can hear what a lot of metal bands are singing.

2) Mudvayne isn't Metal.

3) It sounds good to us. Why would we listen to it if it didn't?

Oh, and from very good word, i've heard that Disturbed have been wrongfully placed in the nu-metal pile, and that they come from a more original metal sound.

Like the above said there is pleanty of metal you can understand what they are saying, if not just google it, and Mudvayne is NOT METAL, ROAR!!! Anyways, I appreciate metal because the good quality metal can be extremely hard to write and takes tons of talent.

WHAAAAAT???

Go listen to "Down With The Sickness". I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure you'll never hear the lyric "Oh-wah-ahh-ahh-ahh" in a traditional metal track.

Picked up the new GWAR cd today and all I can say is it kicks major ass.
probably their heaviest album to date.
All fans of Gwar need to get this album.
And it's a concept album too.
Real good tunes and the production was done by Devin Townsend.
I highly recommend it.
Keep it heavy.
Peace.

They were wrongfully put in the nu-metal pile because of that one album, the most popular and most nu-metallish album they ever did. Whats another nu-metal song from an album other than Thi Sickness?

Oh yeah, and whats up with your formatting batman? You don't have to space at the end of every sentence you know.

I dunno. The start of 'Beating Women' is kinda like a slow version of 'Ooh wah-ah-ah-ah'.

'Ooh wah-ah-ah-ah, yo bitch...'

*gak* can't breathe... too... much... non... metal... in the metal... hell... *gak*

Naw, I thought Job for a Cowboy was death metal at first... shitty death metal. I don't like em' either way. I just thought it was trendy death metal. It's metalcore, as it turns out; but I find I don't like either genre.

In other metal news, I got Bathory's Twilight of the Gods and Nordland I & II, plus Hammerheart about a week earlier.

I am jizzing over all those albums right now, they pwn my socks. I am not really fond of Bathory's black metal or his thrash metal, but his viking metal pwns, though, on Hammerheart he REALLY needed to work on his singing. Luckily, he did -- on Twilight of the Gods.

After listening to way too much Deicide, Anal Cunt and indie black metal(Ronald McFrostbitten, The Upside Down Church), I drummed up a comical anti-Christian piece meself!
