these guys. they are my friends band. a local band in the los angeles area. they play at the whiskey all the time and they almost got a deal with atlantic records, but it fell through cause at the time, they weren't all 18.
Will do, but sadly I'll probebly never see them live. I'm on the other side of the 'Big Pond'. But still, I'll try to check out some of their stuff and maybe I might actually fly over one day in the hopefully not too far future.

Don't feel ashamed, because I live only 2 hours away from Manchester, so I might be able to get up there and see your local band. It can't be all that hard to do, just a couple of train rides or so.

you may not see them soon over in your area, but they are doin really well here and are talking with some labels again, so who knows.

Yes, you definately have to check them out. I spent a whole weekend trying to get their songs, and ended up with 21 songs! They're so good.
Is it possible that you know "Mely" ? They are band friends....
I'll look around...they even have a few shows in my little town once in a while :)
Don't know em, sorry.
No big deal, it's kind of Gothic Rock/Metal, good stuff.
By the way, has anyone heard Sepultura with the new singer(since 1997) ? I only know songs between 1989 and 1996. As you probably know, Max Cavalaera left in 1996.
Someone knows the albums after he left? Like "Nation" or "Roorback" ?

i think that they are really good personally.
The term "good" isn't enough to describe this raw sound I'm hearing on "Forest Bank." I'd say I've just got a new Local band me likes and needs to go see.

well what term would would you use inquisitor-faust? I think i would use the term...good.
There is no term Morph. That's how unique and raw this music is, it cannot and should not be defined by words alone. The music itself is good enough a lable to place on it.

true. That isn't their best song in my opinion though. I'll try to find a link to my favourite.
I forgot to add, if you wanna hear some samples, and watch live videos of graveworm, go to their site http://www.graveworm.de/ and click on "sounds" in the left column.
Here are some local hardcore bands from Milwaukee. http://www.sincebyman.com/

I have, I have roorback, its ok, not as good as back when they had cavalera in my opinion. I havent heard much of theyre other post-cavalera stuff but I heard most of it is meant to be quite dire, Roorback is passable and a good album, plus it comes, or at least mine did, with a 7-track bonus disc. In roorback they have re-captured some of the great sound they had with max but his influnce is missed, the new singer isnt as good, but as singers go has got quite a good voice. Hope that helps...

Thanks for that. That's good to know, have to check it out.
It's too bad that Max went to Soulfly...a band which doesn't even come close to Sepultura..

Welcome :) What else do you like?
Yeah, i think I would have to agree with that, I really like Soulfly, I thought theyre first album was amazing, though their later ones didnt live up to it. Soulfl's newest albums not bad though, its has some good songs on it, some similar to the stuff sepultura were doing before max left. Though it does have some frankly poor collaberations on it, which is a pity.
However the digi-pack version of the album is amazing as it has 7- live tracks on it, including back to the primitive, spit, the song remains insane, and yes, roots bloody roots!

Hehe, don't have a problem with Soulfly either :) It just has lost some of the spirit Sepultura had. Best brasillian band EVER :)
