The wife can't handle metal. Maybe though I would see Born of Osiris or Aversions Crown.

Will she let you have a guy's night out? Grab a friend or two and get your metal on.

I'm very fond of their "mythology era" material, especially V - The New Mythology Suite, The Odyssey and Twilight in Olympus, but I also like some of their later stuff. The more I listen to these guys, the more I appreciate the intricacy of their work. There is just so much that goes into the song-writing process, it's amazing. I don't think their song-writing is as good as it used to be, but they are still a good band.

This is half-great, half-sad :P

Cannibal Corpse has a solid discography all around. I have a weak spot for both Tomb of the Mutilated and Bloodthirst, but there is also some amazing stuff on later records, noticeably on Kill, which is now 11 years old despite the fact that I still feel like it came out yesterday...

When you get into one of these groups theres only a couple of ways you can get out. One is death. The other is mental institution.

They're going to be in my state in April but I don't have any intention on going. I only listen to Kreator and Obituary and even then I don't listen to them enough to justify my going so..
